  • Publication number: 20160198071
Abstract: Compliant supports hover a cover having a pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) applied to bottom surface over a housing to enable precise alignment of the cover to the housing. The compliant supports are placed along a surface of the housing and in respective cavities formed in the surface. The cavities enable locating the compliant supports and enclosing the compliant support after assembly of the enclosure. At least a portion of each of the compliant supports extends above the surface of the housing to hover the cover above the housing such that the PSA does not contact the housing. The compliant supports apply an upward force on the cover to maintain a gap between the cover and the housing. After alignment of the cover to the housing, the cover is brought into contact with the housing while retaining at least one of the compliant supports in the cavity of the housing.

  • Publication number: 20080002024
Abstract: The invention relates to a mobile data-processing handset for processing violations of rules or the like, detected by an operator, particularly for acquiring violations of public-order regulations such as, e.g. traffic rules during the monitoring of stopped and/or moving traffic, with a housing having a front and a rear and containing a data-processing unit, in the front of which both an input device for inputting data and/or operating the data-processing handset and a display device for outputting image and/or processing and/or control information are provided.

  • Publication number: 20070223984
Abstract: A mobile hand-held data-processing device has a housing that has a front and a back and contains a data-processing unit and whose front contains both an input unit for data input and/or operator control of the hand-held data-processing device and a readout unit, in the form of a display, for outputting picture and/or processing and/or control information, the input unit being in the form of a keyboard having a keyboard layout with customary QWERTZ or QWERTY key columns. To allow rapid text input with as few errors as possible by the user of the device, the customary QWERTZ or QWERTY key columns are intended to be oriented vertically when the mobile hand-held data-processing device is being handled normally, and the orientation of the key labeling on the individual keys is intended to be provided horizontally in line with the horizontally readable display readout on the readout unit.

  • Publication number: 20060224081
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the measurement and/or determination of sensory disorders, in particular, related to neuropathies, whereby an air current (10) is directed at a measuring point (4) on the body of a living being, in particular a human, by means of a device (2), in order to influence the thermal sensitivity of the being at said measuring point (4), during a measuring process. The thermal sensitivity and/or a change in thermal sensitivity is correlated with a perceived temperature and, in order to determine the perceived temperature before and/or during the measurement process, at least one parameter from the environment and/or the being is recorded and analysed. The invention further relates to a device for the measurement and/or determination of sensory disorders, in particular, related to neuropathies.

  • Publication number: 20050253737
Abstract: A data checking method in which an object which can be associated with an individual, especially a motor vehicle, can have a transponder with memory including data with respect to the individual and which can be read by a short-range radio forming part of a communication device of a monitoring purpose. A check can be made from a distance of a few meters between the monitoring person and the vehicle.
