  • Patent number: 11921677
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to sharing namespaces across file system clusters. A file in a spoke file system may be determined based on a command provided to the spoke file system such that the file may be associated with an inode mask. Data blocks associated with the file may be determined based on the command and the inode mask such that the data blocks may be absent from the spoke file system. Requests for leases may be generated based on the absent data blocks such that each lease request corresponds to a portion of the absent data blocks Employing the leases provided by a hub file system to: copy the absent data blocks from the hub file system where each portion of absent data blocks may be associated with a lease; updating the inode mask to include the leases and each copied portion of absent blocks.

  • Patent number: 11920188
Abstract: Provided herein is a method for detecting the presence of clade variants in the COVID-19 virus in a human sample and/or an environmental sample. Samples are processed to obtain total RNA. The RNA is used as a template in a combined reverse transcription and amplification reaction to obtain fluorescent COVID-19 virus amplicons. These amplicons are hybridized on a microarray with nucleic acid probes having sequences that discriminate among the various clade variants. The microarray is imaged to detect the clade variant. Also provided is a method of distinguishing each clade variant from others by generating an intensity distribution profile from the image, which is unique to each of the clade variants.

  • Patent number: 11921290
Abstract: A display device includes a waveguide assembly comprising a waveguide configured to outcouple light out of a major surface of the waveguide to form an image in the eyes of a user. An adaptive lens assembly has a major surface facing the output surface and a waveplate lens and a switchable waveplate assembly. The switchable waveplate assembly includes quarter-wave plates on opposing sides of a switchable liquid crystal layer, and electrodes on the quarter-wave plates in the volume between the quarter-wave plates. The electrodes can selectively establish an electric field and may serve as an alignment structure for molecules of the liquid crystal layer. Portions of the adaptive lens assembly may be manufactured by roll-to-roll processing in which a substrate roll is unwound, and alignment layers and liquid crystal layers are formed on the substrate as it moves towards a second roller, to be wound on that second roller.

  • Patent number: 11915619
Abstract: A self-laminating rotating cable marker label is constructed of a transparent film having a first adhesive area, an adhesive-free smooth area, and a second adhesive area. A print-on area forms one side of the transparent film, the print-on area adapted to receive indicia identifying the cable about which the marker label is applied. A perforation extends across the transparent film providing a line of separation of the transparent film. When wrapped around a cable, the second adhesive area overlies the print-on area such that the cable identifying indicia is visible through the transparent second adhesive area. As the transparent film is wrapped around the cable, the first adhesive area adheres to the cable. The remainder of the transparent film is rotated, breaking the perforation, whereby the smooth area of the film in contact with the cable provides smooth rotation of the label around the cable.

  • Publication number: 20240061453
Abstract: Example implementations relate to a pressure regulator assembly for a closed fluid loop of a CDU. The pressure regulator assembly has a cylinder having an internal volume, and first and second hollow pistons slidably connected to the cylinder to split the internal volume into a first volume portion having cooling fluid, a second volume portion having driver fluid, and a third volume portion having compressible matter. The first volume portion is fluidically connected to the closed fluid loop. The first hollow piston is reciprocated by the compressible matter to maintain operating pressure of the cooling fluid in the closed fluid loop. The second hollow piston is driven by the driver fluid in response to predefined pressure drop of the cooling fluid during predefined time period, to inject additional cooling fluid from the first volume portion into the closed fluid loop to restore pressure level of cooling fluid to operating pressure.
