Abstract: A dental retractor has molded flexural support members to provide upper lip, lower lip, and cheek retraction. The retraction provides unobstructed access and visibility for facial/labial areas of the mouth during dental procedures. The lips are prevented from touching gingival tissue and tooth structure. Lips and soft tissue are retracted and held safely away from dental tools. Labial retraction is provided by flexible members which, when positioned in the use position, provide elevation and retraction for the labial surfaces both maxillary and mandibular, the counteractive forces of the maxillary and mandibular support members keep the lips retracted and away from treatment areas. As the flexural support members are flexed for labial retraction, the medial portions of the support members bilaterally retract the cheeks due to the designed forces in the support members.

  • Publication number: 20070162965
Abstract: A method for detecting within a networked computer a target vulnerability such as a Trojan Horse residing therein is disclosed, wherein the vulnerability is characterized by a signature response to an encrypted query. The method includes encrypting a plurality of query data packets in accordance with a plurality of encryption keys, each encrypted query data packet including a defined query field specific to the target vulnerability. The method further includes storing the plurality of encrypted query data packets in a memory. The method further includes thereafter scanning the networked computer for a target vulnerability residing within the networked computer by sending successive ones of the encrypted-and-stored query data packets to the host computer and analyzing responses thereto from the host computer with respect to the characteristic signature. Preferably, the encrypting is performed for substantially all of the encryption keys within a defined key space.

  • Publication number: 20050251474
Abstract: A program for purchasing homes is disclosed. The program is primarily intended for individuals with a poor or sub prime credit rating that precludes them from qualifying for conventional home loan financing. The individuals improve their credit rating as part of the program. The program is preferably operated as a franchise in which franchisees initially purchase homes on behalf of the individuals, lease the homes to the individuals according to a contract entered prior to purchasing the home and, upon successful fulfillment of the lease, the home is sold to the individual using conventional financing. The fulfillment of the lease-to-own contract assists in improving the individual's credit rating and assists in positioning the individual to qualify for conventional home loan financing.
