  • Patent number: 8743191
Abstract: A system and method may allow editing of an image stream, which may be produced by, for example, an ingestible capsule. A workstation accepts images acquired by the capsule and displays the images on a monitor as a moving image. The editing method may include, for example, selecting images which follow predetermined criteria. A shortened movie may thus be created.

  • Patent number: 8446465
Abstract: A system and method may allow automatic display of un-viewed images of an image stream, which may be produced by an ingestible capsule. A set of images acquired by an in-vivo device disposed within a body lumen is received by a receiver or workstation, and a portion of the set of images is selected for display as an image stream. The selected portion of images is displayed as a first image stream, and a complementary portion of the set of images is displayed as a second image stream. The complementary portion includes unselected images from the set of images, and/or images which are indicated as unviewed images. A graphical user interface is provided for selecting a viewing mode which is determined based on previously viewed images and users' review history.

  • Publication number: 20090023993
Abstract: A method and system to display combined information about an in-vivo lumen using several in vivo devices as data sources. A method is provided for interfacing different in vivo devices and viewing integrated results, on a combined display, by receiving in vivo data of at least two in vivo sensing procedures and analyzing the in vivo data to produce the combined representation. The combined representation may be displayed to a user during the course of an in vivo sensing procedure, and the in vivo data of an in vivo sensing procedure may be received and/or analyzed to produce a combined representation in real time.

  • Publication number: 20020093484
Abstract: A system and method allows altering the display of an image stream, which may be produced for example by a swallowable capsule. A workstation accepts images acquired by the capsule and displays the images on a monitor as a moving image. A user, through for example a scrolling wheel of a pointing device, sends signals to the workstation which alter the display of the moving image. The changes in the display may include, for example, altering the display direction of the moving image, and altering the resolution or position of a captured image from the moving image.
