The method may further include receiving the request to establish an outbound communication session with a contact and selecting a transport medium of the two or more transport media based on the priority order and one or more user identifications associated with the contact. The method may also include selecting a software controller in response to the selection of the transport medium based on the software controller being associated with the selected transport medium and sending the request to establish the outbound communication session to an electronic device by the selected software controller through the selected transport medium. The method may also include establishing the outbound communication session with the electronic device through the selected transport medium.

A field programmable gate array in communication with the processor portion may be provided. A configurable non-volatile computer memory in communication with the field programmable gate array and wherein the field programmable gate array is programmed to reconfigure the non-volatile computer memory may be provided. Methods of reconfiguration of a personal computer are provided.
