Abstract: A sleeping bag for providing easy and carefree exit and entry for a user, for providing comfort for the user by having an ability to extend appendages of the user out of the sleeping bag without having to open the sleeping bag in its entirety, and for providing a no-fail engage or disengage exit for potential emergency situations. The sleeping bag includes a lower layer, an upper layer, and a magnetic closure. The upper layer overlies the lower layer so as to form a user space therebetween for the user. The magnetic closure replaceably attaches a portion of the upper layer to a corresponding portion of the lower layer and provides the easy and carefree exit and entry for the user, provides comfort for the user by having an ability to extend appendages of the user out of the sleeping bag without having to open the sleeping bag in its entirety, and provides a no-fail engage/disengage exit for potential emergency situations.
