  • Patent number: 11657442
Abstract: Integrating a fulfillment service provider into a third-party application via an Application Programming Interface (API) is described. In an example, a computing device associated with a fulfillment service provider can determine, based at least in part on an indication of an interaction between a user and a third-party application, that the fulfillment service provider has been initialized. In one example, functionality associated with the fulfillment service provider can be accessible to the third-party application via an API. In at least one example, the computing device can generate, based at least in part on the interaction with the third-party application and while the fulfillment service provider is initialized, a recommendation of at least one of a service, a merchant, or an item associated with the fulfillment service provider. The computing device can cause the recommendation to be presented via at least one of the third-party application or the fulfillment service provider.

  • Publication number: 20190325422
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for computing distance between devices. In one aspect, a method includes the actions of determining an approximate distance between a merchant computer and a customer device based on a strength of a wireless signal associated with data transmitted and received between the merchant device and customer device. The actions further include validating the approximate distance based on signals from a plurality of motion sensors of the customer device to generate a validated distance. The actions further include generating a list with the one or more customers ranked in the list based on the validated distance. The actions further include presenting, on the merchant device, the list of the one or more customers.

  • Patent number: 9928540
Abstract: Techniques to enable the integration of a courier service with a customer application. To integrate a courier service with a customer application, a system may receive a plurality of orders that are to be fulfilled by delivery along with a plurality of locations associated with a plurality of courier devices. The system can then generate a proposal for an order that is based on the plurality of orders and the plurality of locations. In some instances, the system generates the proposal to include one or more options for fulfilling the order, such as delivery by a courier, pickup by a customer, or dine-in by the customer. In some instances, the system further determines a cost associated with each of the options and generates the proposal to include the respective costs.

  • Patent number: 8600967
Abstract: An automatic organization into topics for a browsing history. In one embodiment, a system identifies groups of browsing actions as related, and clusters the browsing history (e.g. a web browsing history) into sessions based on heuristics used to determine relationships. Latent semantic analysis can be used to determine the relationships which can be considered topics. User interfaces for displaying or otherwise presenting these sessions can include icons representative of topics, and these icons can have different sizes depending on a frequency of web page visits within a topic. The topics can be displayed in time ranges or in a cover flow view or both time ranges and cover flow view.

  • Patent number: 8587487
Abstract: In an antenna arrangement, particularly for a motor vehicle window pane antenna, a first conductor structure is provided, which is formed by the heating field of a window pane and a second conductor structure, which is configured as an antenna conductor structure and which is situated galvanically separated from the heating field. At least one conductor of the heating field runs in the form of loops between the actual heating field and an outer edge of the pane 2. The second conductor structure extends comb-like into the loops of this at least one conductor of the heating field.

  • Publication number: 20110138313
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses that generate a thumbnail image for each tab in a window based on a snapshot of the window providing interface for a presentation corresponding to the tab are described. An expanded tab bar may be displayed to replace a tab bar inside the window. One or more thumbnail images may be displayed in the expanded tab bar. A user interface operation may be detected on a particular thumbnail image in the expanded tab bar to update the window for providing interface for a particular presentation corresponding to the particular thumbnail.

  • Patent number: 7400152
Abstract: A diagnostic method for monitoring at least one plug-in connection (4) to an antenna (1), a diagnostic signal is supplied via the antenna signal path toward the antenna (1). The diagnosis signal bypasses an active circuit (31) in the antenna signal path. In the event of a defective plug-in connection (4), the diagnostic signal influences the power supply of the active circuit (31). If the power consumption is outside a predefined window, an error is signaled.
