  • Patent number: 4375132
Abstract: A slide filing and retrieval system characterized in the provision of a book-like file having vertical front and rear sidewalls between which a series of transparent slide carrier sheets are supported for selective swinging movement in a vertical plane through the open top and open end of the file to a viewing position above the open top of the file in front of the illuminated transluscent screen of a viewing stand on which the file is supported. The upper end of the viewing stand has a downwardly depending clamp to releasably clamp any selected slide carrier sheet in viewing position in front of the illuminated transluscent screen. Each slide carrier sheet has a plurality of pockets from and into which slides may be selectively withdrawn or inserted when the sheet is in clamped viewing position.

  • Patent number: 4365955
Abstract: A dental articulator in which maxillary and mandibular frames have at opposite sides interengaged condylar elements to simulate the jaw movements of a dental patient whose maxillary and mandibular dental casts are mounted on the respective frames. The mandibular frame has condylar spheres slidably engaged between upper and lower parallel side walls of grooves in condylar guide elements angularly adjustable on opposite sides of the maxillary frame, the upper side walls of the grooves being transparent for visual observation of the orbital and rotational movements of the condylar spheres in the grooves during relative movements of the frames to simulate the jaw movements of the dental patient.

  • Patent number: 4026024
Abstract: A vise for transfer of check-bites characterized in that clutches fastened to the respective upper and lower arches of the patient's teeth or to the patient's alveolar ridges have screw-actuated vise means which, when loosened, enable protrusive and right and left excursions of the mandible, said vise means being tightened after each such excursion to lock the clutches in the respective check-bite positions for adjusting a dental articulator.
