The impregnated part or side of the substrate is used to clean surfaces, especially vitro-ceramic surfaces while the unimpregnated part or side of the substrate is then used to dry and buff the cleaned surface.

    Abstract: Disclosed are ready to use aqueous cleaning and disinfecting composition which includes the following constituents by weight:0.1-20%wt. of a C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 monohydric alcohol;1.0-10%wt. of a glycol ether, or butoxypropanol or propoxypropanol;0.1-12%wt. of a detersive surfactant particularly those selected from anionic, cationic, nonionic and amphoteric surfactants;0.1-10%wt. of hydrogen peroxide;0.1-7%wt. of an acid;to 100%wt. water;wherein the said composition is at an acidic pH. The composition may include minor amounts of further conventional additives.Methods of cleaning and disinfecting surfaces are also disclosed.
