  • Publication number: 20240071114
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to image data verification. In examples, a discrete cosine transform (DCT) is performed on image data and used to generate a set of DCT coefficients. In some instances, multiple block sizes are used when processing the image data, such that a set of DCT coefficients is generated for each block size. The resulting sets of DCT coefficients for the plurality of block sizes may be processed according to an expected distribution to determine whether the content of the image data is likely to be authentic or likely to be altered, such that an indication may be provided in association with the image data accordingly.

  • Patent number: 11073360
Abstract: A ballistic resistant article includes a first layer that has first unidirectional fibers disposed in a first polymer matrix. The first polymer matrix is composed of a thermoset polyurethane. A second layer is laminated to the first layer. The second layer includes second unidirectional fibers disposed in a second polymer matrix. The second unidirectional fibers are cross-oriented with respect to the first unidirectional fibers.

  • Publication number: 20110061522
Abstract: A ballistic panel assembly for use in body armor includes at least one subassembly including at least one layer including fibers that extend from at least one side thereof and at least one edge guard encompassing at least a portion of the extending fibers. The ballistic panel assembly further includes a waterproof cover encasing the at least one subassembly. The cover includes a front section and a rear section. A waterproof seal is formed between the front section and the rear section around at least a portion of perimeters thereof adjacent to the at least one edge guard after the subassembly is placed between the front section and the rear section. The edge guard can, for example, include an adhesive tape.
