  • Publication number: 20240123328
Abstract: A dice toss game includes a pair of spaced apart table units, and a cube-shaped die. Each table unit may include a frame having an opening extending therethrough, legs coupled to the frame, and a net to be stretched across the opening of the frame to form a die bouncing surface having openings extending therethough. Hooks are used to secure the stretched net to the frame. The cube-shaped die is to be tossed by a player for bouncing off the die bouncing surface on one of the table units. The openings in the die bouncing surface may cause the cube-shaped die to bounce in a random direction.

  • Patent number: 7370514
Abstract: Resistivity ? values of a lubricating oil are repeatedly determined at a predetermined temperature (range) as it is in use in a working mechanism such as a vehicle engine. Such accumulated properties over operating time of the working lubricant can be plotted graphically to display a curve with, for example, a first portion where d?/dt>0, a maximum ?max at a time t1 where d?/dt=0, a second portion where d?/dt<0, a minimum ?min at a time t2 where d?/dt again is zero, and a third portion where d?/dt>0. Furthermore, there can exist another time t3, where d?/dt exhibits a discontinuous change (increase) with time. Characteristics of the ? vs. t curve, including, the values of t1, t2, t3, ?max, ?min, and the ratio ?max/?min can be compared with like data on like lubricant oils in estimating the remaining useful life of the present operating lubricant oil.

  • Patent number: 6347375
Abstract: A method of remotely scanning and repairing viruses on a local computer having a normal operating system, the method comprising the steps of loading into memory of the local computer, a bootable virus utility operating program from a storage medium, the bootable virus utility operating program being operated locally by the local computer and independently of the normal operating system; and establishing communications between the local computer and a remote computer through operation of the virus utility operating program by the local computer. Wherein the virus utility operating program includes a virus scanning program. Further including the step of querying the user and monitoring the local computer display for user information regarding virus scanning and repair utility options through the operation of the remote computer and executing virus scanning and repair utility programs at the local computer after executing a remote data recovery function.
