  • Patent number: 9163536
Abstract: A wind turbine includes a component arranged in the nacelle of the wind turbine, which component requires lubricating with a liquid lubricant. An automatic liquid lubricant changing arrangement includes a source of fresh liquid lubricant, a supply line for supplying fresh liquid lubricant from the source to the component, a waste liquid lubricant collecting unit for waste liquid lubricant, and a removal line for conveying waste liquid lubricant from the component to the waste liquid lubricant collecting unit. Moreover, a control device for such a wind turbine and a method of operating such a wind turbine are provided.

  • Publication number: 20120080366
Abstract: A device for filtering lubricants of a wind turbine transmission includes a lubricant inlet and a lubricant outlet. Lubricants of the wind turbine transmission are carried from the lubricant inlet to the lubricant outlet. The device further includes a filter element which is arranged between the lubricant inlet and the lubricant outlet. The filter element is designed such that water is separated from the lubricants by the filter element. A water outlet is connected to the filter element, such that the separated water can be drained out of the device. A hydrocarbon adsorber is arranged between the filter element and the water outlet, such that it purifies the separated water of hydrocarbons.

  • Publication number: 20120073906
Abstract: A device for filtering lubricants in a transmission includes a fine filter element which is arranged in a transmission casing and in a lubricant flow in such a way that contaminants of a lubricant are filtered out as a function of a size of the contaminants. The device further includes a magnetic filter element which is arranged spatially separated from the fine filter element. The magnetic filter element is arranged in the transmission casing and in the lubricant flow in such a way that magnetizable contaminants in the lubricant are filtered out with the aid of a magnetic field of the magnetic filter element.

  • Publication number: 20120031704
Abstract: A device for spray lubrication of a wind turbine transmission is provided. The device includes a transmission enclosed by a housing, a first oil spray unit and a second oil spray unit. Both of the oil spray units are arranged in the interior of the housing. The first oil spray unit is embodied to spray oil at a first temperature in the interior of the transmission housing, while the second oil spray unit is embodied to spray oil at a second temperature in the interior of the transmission housing, wherein the first and the second temperature differ from each other.
