  • Patent number: 11420030
Abstract: Angioplasty and other dilatation devices are provided with scoring elements which incorporate a drug to be delivered to a body lumen, typically a blood vessel. The scoring elements have drugs and other active substances coated over a portion thereof or incorporated within internal structure of the element so that the drug is released into the luminal wall closely associated diseased regions of the body lumen as the scoring structure is radially expanded into the wall.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 7, 2019
Date of Patent: August 23, 2022
    Assignee: ANGIOSCORE, INC.
    Inventors: Eitan Konstantino, Michal Konstantino
  • Patent number: 11033276
Abstract: Methods and devices are used to treat a dorsal vein to reduce blood flow in patients suffering from erectile dysfunction. For example, a clip may be advanced distally across the deep dorsal vein and an anchor on the clip deployed on a proximal side of the Tunica albuginea. The clip can then be pulled back and a distal anchor on the clip deployed to reduce a cross-sectional area of the deep dorsal vein and anchor the deep dorsal vein to the Tunica albuginea. Anchoring of the dorsal vein to the Tunica albuginea further reduces the cross-sectional area of the deep dorsal vein in response to expansion of the patient's corpora cavernosa.

  • Patent number: 9180273
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for delivering a substance to a target tissue are provided which may include any number of features. One feature is storing a substance or drug in a reservoir or reservoirs over an expandable member. The expandable member can be a balloon catheter, for example. The reservoir(s) can be disposed in a Transforming Reservoirs Matrix layer disposed over the expandable member. Another feature is a mechanical activator or a plurality of mechanical activators positioned near the reservoir(s).

  • Patent number: 8864743
Abstract: Angioplasty and other dilatation devices are provided with scoring elements which incorporate a drug to be delivered to a body lumen, typically a blood vessel. The non-cutting scoring elements have drugs and other active substances coated over a portion thereof or incorporated within internal structure of the element so that the drug is released into the luminal wall closely associated diseased regions of the body lumen as the non-cutting scoring structure is radially expanded into the wall.
