  • Publication number: 20230252653
Abstract: A method for detecting moving objects within a certain zone that includes initially providing multiple physical cameras around the zone and composing a panoramic video stream using the cameras. Upon composing the panoramic video stream, one or more virtual camera views are defined by selecting corresponding partial views of the panoramic views and by de-warping the selected, partial views into square views. Each de-warped view is fed into a deep learning neural network and then a corresponding part of the zone is detected.

  • Patent number: 7720023
Abstract: This invention relates to a system and a method for a telecommunication system, comprising a circuit switched network connected with mobile terminals, moreover comprising, for the transmission of streaming video content from a streaming video server within the internet to the mobile terminals, a gateway, connected to the circuit switched network at the one side and connected to the internet at the other side, the gateway being fit for the conversion of files having an internet compatible streaming video format received from the streaming video server, into streaming video bitstreams in a format fit to be transmitted to the mobile terminals via the circuit switched network, wherein the telecommunication system further comprises a registration unit, connectable with the mobile terminals via a packet switched network and fit for registering, for each relevant mobile terminal, a terminal identifier linked to the mobile terminal's node address at the circuit switched network.

  • Publication number: 20040064418
Abstract: The present invention is related to online access to content services. More specifically, a method and system for controlled access to content services (2) where a terminal user (1) can be allowed (b2) or refused (b1) access to a content service (2) and the use thereof are disclosed. The invention provides a solution to enable controlled online access from a terminal user (1) to a content service (2) wherein no time-consuming registration steps, which are also annoying to the customer, or time-consuming billing steps have to be performed, only one terminal (5) is needed by the user (1) and only one connection needs to be active at the time. The invention is particularly useful for mobile terminal users, like i-mode site customers, to get comfortable access to chargeable Internet services using a payment gateway accessible through the packet-switched GPRS network and a voice response system accessible through the circuit-switched GSM network.

  • Publication number: 20030210682
Abstract: Telecommunication system, comprising a circuit switched network (3) connected with mobile terminals (1). For the transmission of streaming video content from a streaming video server (9) within the internet (5) to said mobile terminals, a gateway (7) may be connected between the circuit switched network and the internet, said gateway being fit for the conversion and forwarding of files received from said streaming video server via the circuit switched network. The system may comprise means for retrieving, at the registration means (8), the circuit switched network node address guided by the terminal identifier of the relevant mobile terminal requesting for the streaming video content from the streaming video server (9) and means for setting up a connection and the transmission of said streaming video content, converted into streaming video bitstreams by said gateway (7), to the retrieved circuit switched network node address.

  • Publication number: 20030210683
Abstract: Telecommunication system, comprising a circuit switched network (3) and a packet switched network (4) both connected with videoconferencing enabled (e.g. H.324M) mobile terminals (1). For the transmission of streaming video content from said mobile terminals to a streaming video server (9) within the internet (5), a gateway (7) is connected to the circuit switched network at the one side and connected to the internet at the other side. The gateway is fit for the conversion of streaming video bit streams received from the mobile terminals via the circuit switched network, into files having an internet compatible streaming video format. A registration server (8), connected with said mobile terminals (1) via said packet switched network (4) is fit for registering, for each relevant mobile terminal, a terminal identifier linked to the address of an internet storage location wherein the internet compatible streaming video, originated by the relevant mobile terminal, is or is to be stored.
