  • Publication number: 20150167680
Abstract: The invention relates to a rotary compressor that includes a disc-shaped rotor having a radius R, supporting on the periphery thereof at least one first series of non-planar blades intended for accelerating the fluid to be compressed between an intake and an outlet, a casing defining on the outside at least one generally toroidal channel that is peripheral to the rotor, said at least one channel being coaxial, arranged at the radial end of said rotor and containing said blades, a static and annular core being arranged inside said at least one toroidal channel such as to define a free section A with said casing. According to the invention, the arrangements and respective shapes of the rotor, the at least one peripheral channel and said at least one series of blades are such that the ratio A/R2 is between 6% and 16%.

  • Publication number: 20110120219
Abstract: The invention relates to a capacitive sensor (2) for detecting the level (52) of a liquid (54) in a tank (48). The inventive sensor consists of: a flat longitudinal support (4) comprising proximal (8), central (10) and distal (12) parts and connection means (6) which are located in the proximal part (8) and which are used to connect the support (4) and the exterior of the support (4) electrically; a measuring pair (14) comprising interdigital arms which are disposed on the support (4) at least in the central part (10) thereof; and a reference pair (16) comprising interdigital arms which are disposed on the support (4) in the distal part (12) thereof. The aforementioned support (4) comprises at least three layers, and the reference pair (16) is linked to at least one connection track (26) which is located in an inner layer (24) of the support (4) and which is linked to the above-mentioned connection means (6). The invention also relates to a tank (48) comprising one such sensor (2).

  • Patent number: 7845224
Abstract: A sensor for detecting a liquid level, including a measurement capacitor, a reference capacitor, an integrating capacitor, a calibration capacitor, a controller, an amplifier, a comparator, and a complementary calibration capacitor. The controller implements operations, over accumulation periods and for given target and discharge capacitors, of a target capacitor charging, a charge transfer, a decision, a conditional discharge, and a return. The target and discharge capacitors given at each period are taken from pairs of capacitors, including the measurement and calibration capacitors and the reference and complementary calibration capacitors. A method estimates the liquid level using the sensor in a vehicle.
