  • Patent number: 6161471
Abstract: A machine for the automatic production of kebabs from a container whose side faces are slotted and filled with layers of meat and/or vegetables. The machine comprises at least a container insertion station, a station in which the container is skewered with sticks, a cutting station engaging with the container slots, for cutting the skewered layers of meat and/or vegetables, and a station in which the container containing the different skewered and cut layers of meat and/or vegetables is unloaded. The machine of the present invention also includes a supporting member having peripheral arrangements for the loading and centering of at least one container, the supporting member being fixed to rotary drive means in order to present the container or containers in succession to each of the stations arranged in a circular manner about the member.

  • Patent number: 6045071
Abstract: A machine for cutting a food product into dice-like sections that includes a two piece enclosure containing a chamber passing axially through said enclosure that is shaped to complement the cross-section of the food product. The two pieces of the enclosure can be opened to permit the product to be loaded into the chamber. A pusher rod is arranged to move through the chamber to drive the product through perpendicularly positioned cutting grids which cut the product into strips. A slicer is positioned adjacent the cutting grid for cutting the strips into dice like sections.

  • Patent number: 5740722
Abstract: An automatic kebab making machine includes plates with recesses for accepting the ingredients. The plates interact with at least one skewering system for inserting (or placing) a spit into each recess, thereby passing it through the accepted ingredients to form a kebab. Each recess is generally rectangular and defines a space that can be filled completely with ingredients. The length, breadth and depth of the recess substantially matches the dimensions of the kebab to be prepared, and the ends of the recess communicate with clearances for holding a spit.

  • Patent number: 5161447
Abstract: A device for slicing food for the production of shish kabobs includes an assembly having blades in correspondence with and in alignment with slits in a container that carries layers of food. The assembly is movable in translation to and from the container and angularly in parallel with the slits. The blades successively perform a movement of penetration into the interior of the container, a movement of angular pivoting along an arc of a circle corresponding to the height of the container, and a movement of withdrawal from the container, so as to assure by the combination of these movements the slicing of all of the layers of food.

  • Patent number: 4893553
Abstract: Machine for the automatic production of meat and/or vegetable kebabs threaded onto skewers. The object of the invention relates to the sector involving the shaping or treatment of food products.According to this addition, the arrangements taking the skewers (20) are made up of a plurality of tubes (38) corresponding to the perforations of the container lid, the said tubes (38) being fixed at one end into holes made out in the thickness of a coupling plate (38b) making up a guiding and positioning assembly for the said skewers.

  • Patent number: 4837895
Abstract: The invention refers notably to the technical sector involving the forming or treatment of food products. The machine has a combination, suitably mounted on a frame (S), of a sliding support plate (1) arranged axially at the base of the container (7) and mounted with guided vertical displacement capability, being coupled to a control mechanism, with the said plate (1) having a removable chassis (4) arranged to permit removable vertical positioning of a number of skewers (6) with a view to pressing them into the various layers during action on the above-mentioned control mechanism; one or more cutting devices being connected to a control mechanism with horizontal outward and return motion, while being mounted with a guided sliding motion in relation to the frame (S) and perpendicular to at least one of the faces of the container (7) with a view to cutting the layers of meat and/or vegetables, with the skewering and cutting devices being controlled synchronously from a single control point.
