  • Patent number: 10307834
Abstract: A cutting tool includes a main body suitable to be mounted pivotably about an axis of rotation. A cutting head is carried by a carrying member. The carrying member is mounted displaceably in translation on the main body along an axis perpendicular to the axis of rotation. A counterweight is displaceably mounted in translation on the main body along an axis perpendicular to the axis of rotation. The cutting tool also includes an adjusting spindle for the simultaneous adjustment of the carrying member with respect to the counterweight, arranged on either side of the axis of rotation of the main body.

  • Patent number: 9283624
Abstract: A boring tool on a flange consisting of at least one tool holder and a flange, in which the tool holder is fitted with a means of gripping designed to engage the guiding and clamping assembly of the slide for guiding and holding the fastening flange, which is provided, in addition, with a device for limiting the travel of the tool holder or of the counterweight, or the positioning lug of a tool holder or of a counterweight can be put aside during placement a tool holder or a counterweight and returns automatically into position after this placement and in which each tool holder is fitted with a device for lubricating the cutting edge of the tool, coupled to the means of centralized lubrication of the flange. The tool is more particularly applicable in the field of numerically-controlled machine-tool accessories, tooling centers, cubicles, and flexible workshops.

  • Patent number: 4566563
Abstract: A brake of the multi-plate disc type is mounted at the end of an axle of a vehicle to brake it through the intermediary of a reduction gear mechanism, and the brake is operated by an hydraulic control system which extends to the brake from a portion inboard of bearings for a hub on which a wheel is mounted. A removable external cover is itself disposed outwardly of the brake to provide direct access to it when it is removed and to ensure the completeness and liquid-tightness of a closed cooling circuit for cooling the brake.

  • Patent number: 4528991
Abstract: An applicator of microwaves, has a first mass connected to a wave guide and associated with a heat exchanger in connection with a circuit for circulation of a cooling fluid on the one hand, and a second mass in the form of an envelope concentric with respect to the first mass connected to the return of the wave guide and having an annular base associated with a heat exchanger in connection with a circuit for circulation of a cooling fluid. The invention is particularly directed to the treatment of cancerous tumors.

  • Patent number: 4491202
Abstract: A brake particularly suitable for operation under heavy load and adapted to be mounted at the end of the axle of a vehicle, inside a rim of a wheel thereof, adjacent to speed-reducing gearing itself housed in the normal way in said rim. The brake comprises a plurality of elementary distinct interchangeable modules each enclosed by a housing and operating by interengagement of interleaved discs capable of axially sliding one relative to another under the action of a suitable braking control, these discs being cooled by a liquid circulating in a closed circuit.
