Abstract: A medical equipment adaptable travel restraint system includes a number of features to support transportation and use of durable medical equipment including crash-safe transportation in a vehicle, vehicle-to-site transportation by a user for deployment, and operation of the durable medical equipment by the user without removal from a carrier of the medical equipment adaptable travel restraint system.

Abstract: A wrap for a post-catheterization patient (or the like) may include an apparatus that covers the patient's torso for warmth and comfort, while generally immobilizing the patient's legs and lower body in a supine position with their legs slightly separated and immobilized laterally to discourage bending of the legs and/or rotation of the patient. The device may allow for relatively unrestricted movement of a patient's shoulders, head, and arms, thus providing a feel of mobility and permitting the patient (e.g., a toddler) to interact with their surroundings. Moreover, when a patient is secured in the wrap, treatment areas such as the groin (e.g., for catheter placement) and lower extremities may be exposed for examination and treatment by a caregiver.
