  • Publication number: 20240160401
Abstract: An example computing device is configured to use a first communication protocol to connect to a local network. After connecting to the local network, the computing device uses the first communication protocol to receive first information identifying a first playback device connected to the local network. The computing device also uses a second communication protocol different from the first communication protocol to connect to a second playback device that is not connected to the local network. Further, the computing device uses a third communication protocol different from the first and second communication protocols to receive second information identifying the second playback device. The computing device displays (i) a first representation of the first playback device based on the first information identifying the first playback device and (ii) a second representation of the second playback device based on the second information identifying the second playback device.

  • Patent number: 11947445
Abstract: Systems and methods for adjusting operating parameters of at least one pipelined software asset. Within a pipelined environment, an agent software asset is inserted immediately preceding a software asset whose operating parameters are to be adjusted. The agent software asset receives data and/or data sets from a user and such data and data sets are inserted/used by the software asset. The agent software asset also allows for a reporting of the output of other software assets to thereby provide users with intermediate outputs from the pipelined environment.

  • Publication number: 20230392916
Abstract: A method for measuring gaps between material layers include inserting a probe tip within a through-hole defined in a structural component. The probe tip is arranged at the end of a probe assembly attached to articulated arm coordinate measuring machine (AACMM). The method further includes contacting the probe tip with a hole surface of the through-hole. The method further includes translating the probe tip along the hole surface in a direction parallel to an axis through the through-hole. The probe tip passes over a gap along the through-hole. The method further includes measuring a radial position of the probe tip during the translation along the hole surface and across the gap including a deflection of radial position of the probe tip as the probe tip crosses the gap. The method further includes calculating a gap size of the gap based on the deflection and a size of the probe tip.

  • Publication number: 20080045888
Abstract: A mobile breast-feeding assembly is shown for feeding a child while traveling in a motor vehicle, as where the child being fed is seated in a child safety restraint seat. The apparatus has a conically shaped breast shield, a length of flexible tubing, and a nipple adapter that threadingly engages an exchangeable nipple element. Engagement regions on the nipple adapter allow a variety of exchangeable nipple elements to be utilized with the basic assembly. The assembly can be formed of disposable materials.

  • Patent number: 6406841
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to a novel human T-cell lymphotropic, or leukemia, virus type II (HTLV-II) isolate designated NRA. HTLV-IINRA was originally isolated from a patient with atypical hairy cell leukemia. Preliminary restriction analysis of this isolate demonstrated that it differs genetically from the prototypical HTLV-II isolate Mo. HTLV-IINRA proviral molecular clones were obtained and the entire nucleotide sequence of the virus ascertained. The claimed invention is particularly directed toward the gp46 and p21e envelope proteins encoded by the env gene. Methods and kits for the detection of HTLV-II antibodies employing these envelope proteins are also described.
