Abstract: Certain examples provide for navigation and processing of ingested data phases. An example method includes rendering a default view in a graphical user interface and further ingesting, in batch operations, data from one or more databases. Methods may also include creating data processing rules based on the ingested data, identifying temporal phases in the data, and analyzing data associated with the temporal phases with the data processing rules. Methods may further include rendering a second view, in the graphical user interface, the second view displaying data of a first temporal phase and displaying, in the second view, results of the analyzing of the first temporal phase with the data processing rules.

Abstract: Certain examples provide systems and methods for patient-provider engagement. An example apparatus includes a workflow processor to identify a patient and determine a workflow for patient care, the workflow processor to divide a workflow into phases, each phase associating rules from a rules engine with at least one role, each phase including at least one activity specified by the rules, each activity involving at least one role and at least one associated task, alert, or suggestion for the at least one role specified by the rules, wherein the rules connect the activities of the phases of the workflow to an electronic medical record to automatically provide and receive data for a patient in each phase of the workflow. The example apparatus includes a phase monitor to monitor execution of the phases of the workflow and trigger at least one of the associated task, alert or suggestion.

Abstract: Certain examples provide systems and methods to assign clinical goals, care plans, and/or care pathways. An example system includes a rule engine including a particularly programmed processor to process ingested clinical data for a patient with respect to a goal, identify a rule applicable to the clinical data and goal for the patient, and apply the rule to the clinical data to generate at least one of an action or a suggestion for the patient based on applying the rule to the clinical data, the at least one of an action or a suggestion applicable to a care plan for the patient to achieve the goal. The example system also includes a rule repository storing rules and associated information for access by the rule engine.
