    Abstract: The present invention is directed to a bovine embryo culture medium. The medium includes a culture solution containing the nutritional substances necessary to support a bovine embryo. One of the nutritional substances is hemicalcium lactate in an amount effective to maintain the health and viability of the bovine embryo. The culture medium is a preferred nuclear transfer medium.
