A second playlist is generated dynamically from the multimedia files and the one or more additional multimedia files.

According to one embodiment, a multimedia file having a video and an audio is downloaded from a source. A plurality of slides from the video of the multimedia file is chose, and an interval is computed using the plurality of slides. A plurality of frames are extracted at the interval from the video of the multimedia file. The extracted plurality of frames are scaled to display on a phone. The scaled plurality of frames are converted to a plurality of images having a format viewable on the phone. The plurality of images are combined with the audio of the multimedia file to form a slide show; and the slide show is displayed on the phone.
