  • Patent number: 6829457
Abstract: A driving apparatus transmits a driving force from a drive source to a driven body via a multiple-stage gear train (including, for example, gears). In the multiple-stage gear train, the speed fluctuation phase of a mesh frequency occurring at each mesh point of the gear train including the gears to a target gear is set in a range in which the speed fluctuation amplitude of the target gear positioned downstream at the third stage or later is equal to or less than the speed fluctuation amplitude of the immediately preceding mesh gear positioned upstream. The invention also applies to an image formation apparatus using the drive as a drive of a driven body.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 29, 2002
Date of Patent: December 7, 2004
    Assignee: Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd.
Inventors: Takahiko Ryuzaki, Norio Hokari, Satoru Nishikawa, Susumu Kibayashi, Yoshihiko Mitamura, Tokuaki Hanzawa, Michiaki Yoshihara

  • Patent number: 5392339
Abstract: A telephone transfer apparatus for use in a facsimile network system, which is capable of carrying out telephone communications effectively. With a telephone transfer apparatus, it is possible to call up a telephone or an extension telephone having a telephone number registered in advance in case of detecting that a voice request has been established in a transmitting station or that the voice request has been required in a remote station. Accordingly, required information along with facsimile communications can be exchanged without the fall-off of efficiency of main operations.

  • Patent number: 5343142
Abstract: A sheet size detection device for detecting a size of sheets which are held in a cassette body comprises a first guide member for defining the position of the sheets which are held in the body of the cassette, in a first direction of the sheets, the first guide member being movable in accordance with the size of sheets, a second guide member for defining the position of the sheets, in a second direction of the sheets, the second direction being orthogonal to the first direction, the second guide member being movable in accordance with the size of sheets, a first arm having a first resistor and movable with the first guide member, a second arm having a second resistor and movable with the second guide member, the first and second resistors constituting a variable resistor, and a size detector for detecting the size of the sheets on the basis of the resistance value of the variable resistor.

  • Patent number: 5289532
Abstract: A facsimile terminal capable of automatically dialing a telephone number of location where a remote operator can make a response to a voice request. In case of the remote operator being away from a remote station, a telephone communication becomes possible to send a voice message in addition to facsimile transmission.
