  • Patent number: 6226059
Abstract: An anodized oxide film of Al is formed on a scanning signal line and a gate electrode. Al—Ta is used as material of each of the scanning signal line and gate electrode. The thickness of the anodized oxide film is set to at least 1,000 angstroms. The fabrication yield and reliability can be improved.

  • Patent number: 5633175
Abstract: A liquid crystal display device is produced by effecting in the course of its production steps a resist-peeling method including the steps of (a) changing the quality of a resist layer on a substrate, (b) contacting the changed resist with a liquid containing 2-amino-1-ethanol, and (c) removing the liquid containing the thus peeled resist from the surface of the etched resist, and optionally, (d) regenerating a liquid containing 2-amino-1-ethanol by distillation from the liquid used in step (c) and reusing the regenerated liquid in step (b).

  • Patent number: 5589962
Abstract: An anodized oxide film of Al is formed on a scanning signal line and a gate electrode. An alloy of Al containing Ta and Ti is used as material of each of the scanning signal line and gate electrode. The thickness of the anodized oxide film is set to 1,000 angstroms or more. The fabrication yield and reliability can be improved.

  • Patent number: 5530568
Abstract: A liquid crystal display device comprises: a liquid crystal display panel including a liquid crystal interposed between first and second transparent plates; a set of conductive lines disposed on a surface of at least one of said transparent plates; and a set of electrically conductive pads connected to respective first ends of the conductive lines. Each of the conductive lines has a lower layer made of aluminum or aluminum alloy and an upper layer made of a transparent conductive film. The aluminum or aluminum alloy layers in the conductive lines do not extend into any of the layers used to construct the pads. Each pad, instead, is formed of only a transparent conductive film. Additionally, the conductive lines have respective second ends which are commonly connected to a short-circuiting line. Disposed within the line is another electrically conductive pad, constructed in the fashion the pads in the aforementioned set are constructed.

  • Patent number: 5399202
Abstract: A resist is peeled without leaving a residue after peeling, by bringing a resist-peeling liquid comprising a primary aliphatic amine of 2-6 carbon atoms into contact with the surface of an etched novolak positive photoresist, and removing the resist-peeling liquid containing the thus peeled resist from the surface of the etched resist. The used resist-peeling liquid can easily be recovered and regenerated.

  • Patent number: 5028898
Abstract: In a proposed color cathode-ray tube with deflection yoke, adjustment of static convergence and purity is performed by controlling the polarities and magnetization forces of a plurality of pole pieces made of metal alloy circumferentially held around the outer periphery. Tap bolts pressing the external wall of a funnel nearly in the perpendicular direction are so disposed on a deflection yoke mounting member as to be adjacent to the funnel of the color cathode-ray tube. The tap bolts press the funnel to fix the deflection yoke.
