  • Publication number: 20230294162
Abstract: A representative fastening tool which fastens a work piece by utilizing a fastener that includes a pin in which a shaft portion and a head portion are integrally formed and a hollow shaped collar which is engageable to the pin, wherein the work piece is disposed between the head portion and the collar. The fastening tool includes a pin holding portion which can hold an end part region of the shaft portion, wherein the fastener is fastened in a state that the collar and the head portion clamp the work piece and the end part region is integral with the shaft portion, wherein the controller has the pin holding portion move in the first direction to conduct the fastening of the fastener by a motor drive control mode defined as a drive control of the motor based on motor drive current and motor drive electric power.

  • Publication number: 20210370544
Abstract: An electric work machine (1) includes a motor (1), a manipulatable part (9), a control part (20) configured to perform a first braking control and a second braking control that differ from each other, and a kickback-detection part (20, S30) that detects whether kickback has occurred. The control part energizes the motor in response to detection of user-manipulation of the manipulatable part. In response to detection of kickback, the control part performs the first braking control and thereby causes the motor to generate a first braking force. In response to detection of a state change of the manipulatable part to an unmanipulated or OFF state, the control part performs the second braking control and thereby causes the motor to generate a second braking force, which is weaker than the first braking force.

  • Patent number: 11045861
Abstract: A fastening tool includes a bolt-gripping part, an anvil, a motor, and a control part. When the bolt-gripping part grips an end region of a shaft part and moves relative to the anvil in a first direction of a longitudinal-axis direction, the anvil presses a collar fitted onto the shaft part in a second direction opposite to the first direction of the longitudinal-axis direction and inward in a radial direction of the collar, so that a hollow part of the collar is crimped to a groove while the workpiece is clamped between the collar and a head part, whereby swaging of a fastener is completed while the end region remains integrated with the shaft part. The control part completes swaging of the fastener by terminating a movement of the bolt-gripping part in the first direction relative to the anvil based on driving current of the motor.

  • Patent number: 8907610
Abstract: A motor control device has a motor driving unit that drives a motor, a current detecting unit that detects a motor current flowing through the motor, a control unit that compares a detected current value of the motor current detected by the current detecting unit with a target current value to obtain a deviation, to control the motor driving unit based on the deviation, and a compensation unit that sets as a current offset value a detected current value of a drift current detected by the current detecting unit in a state where the motor current is regarded as zero, to compensate the detected current value of the motor current by the current offset value. The compensation unit sets a target offset value according to the current value of the detected drift current to correct the current offset value stepwise until the current offset value reaches the target offset value.
