  • Patent number: 8682295
Abstract: A mobile electronic device includes a fingerprint sensor for detecting an operation, an activation unit (control unit) for performing a predetermined action, an acceleration sensor for detecting an inclination state of the fingerprint sensor with respect to a horizontal plane, and a control unit for making the activation unit perform predetermined actions based on the operation detected by the fingerprint sensor. The control unit performs the detection in the fingerprint sensor differently according to the inclination detected by the acceleration sensor.

  • Patent number: 8600354
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to suppress, in a portable electronic device that can emit light, a situation in which light is emitted in an unexpected direction when a user suddenly moves the portable electronic device while a light emission operation is being performed. In order to achieve the above object, a mobile telephone includes a light emission unit that emits laser light or the like; a main display unit, a vibration motor, an LED, a speaker, and a sub display unit that perform a predetermined notification when a predetermined condition is satisfied; and a control unit that controls a light emission operation performed by the light emission unit, the control unit including a suppression unit that suppresses a predetermined notification performed by the main display unit, the vibration motor, the LED, the speaker, and the sub display unit when the light emission unit emits light.
