  • Patent number: 10844773
Abstract: A heat exchanger includes crimping plates fixed to an inlet and an outlet of a duct and having frame shapes corresponding to opening shapes of the inlet and the outlet. Each of the crimping plates includes a beam connecting two different positions on an inner periphery of the crimping plate. The beam has a rib.

  • Publication number: 20200165964
Abstract: An air cooling device includes a first inlet surge tank, a first heat exchanger to cool air introduced from the first surge tank, a second inlet surge tank, a second heat exchanger to cool air introduced from the second surge tank, and an outlet surge tank. The outlet surge tank receives both of airs introduced from the first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger and the airs flows from the outlet surge tank toward an internal combustion engine. The outlet surge tank includes a merging space and a fixing hole. The merging space is where the airs introduced from the first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger merge with each other. A fastening member to fasten the outlet surge tank passes through the fixing hole from an outer surface of the outlet surge tank away from the merging space toward the internal combustion engine.

  • Patent number: 7073467
Abstract: A cooling water circuit system for an engine includes a radiator bypass passage through which cooling water of the engine bypasses a radiator, a heat exchanger disposed in the radiator bypass circuit to perform heat exchange between the cooling water and lubricant oil of an automatic transmission, and a radiator downstream passage through which the cooling water from the radiator flows into the heat exchanger. Further, a flow adjusting unit is disposed at a join portion where the radiator bypass passage and the radiator downstream passage are joined, to adjust a flow ratio between the cooling water flowing from the radiator downstream passage to the heat exchanger and the cooling water flowing from the radiator bypass passage to the heat exchanger. The flow adjusting unit is controlled by a control unit in accordance with the temperature detected by the temperature detection unit.

  • Patent number: 5613550
Abstract: A tank for a heat exchanger is made of resin as a unit by molding with a pair of forming dies and includes a fit base portion for supporting an end of the tube portion to keep a fluid communication between the tank and the tube, and a box-shaped receiving portion integrally formed with an outer side surface of the tank to receive a fastening part. The receiving portion includes a bottom wall extending horizontally, a front wall extending vertically from a front end of the bottom wall and a pair of side walls extending vertically from side ends of the bottom wall in a manner to form a top opening thereby. A notch portion is provided at the front wall and the bottom wall in such a manner that the notch portion extends from a middle portion of the front wall to the bottom wall. The receiving portion for receiving the fastening part can be structured as a unit with only a pair of dies and without an additional mechanism.
