    Abstract: A motion measuring system comprises a plurality of sensors and at least one computing device in communication with the plurality of sensors. The plurality of sensors comprise one or more optical sensors and one or more body member sensors. A user interface provided by the at least one computing device is used to instruct a subject to perform a movement of one or more body members. An adjustment of one or more frequencies of one or more of the plurality of sensors is performed to reduce a power consumption of at least one of the plurality of sensors. The adjustment is performed based at least in part on the movement which the subject is instructed to perform. A motion of the subject is measured using the one or more optical sensors of the motion measuring system during or subsequent to performing the adjustment of the one or more frequencies.

    Abstract: A motion tracking system comprises a computing device and a plurality of motion trackers in communication with the computing device. A user interface provided by the computing device is used to instruct a subject to perform a movement of one or more body members. One or more frequencies of one or more of the plurality of motion trackers is adjusted to reduce a power consumption of at least one of the plurality of motion tracker to thereby reduce a power consumption of the motion tracking system. The one or more frequencies is adjusted based at least in part on the movement which the subject is instructed to perform. The subject is tracked using the plurality of motion trackers of the motion tracking system.
