Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for providing document data. A host application is displayed on an interface of a computer system, where the host application includes an interface field that is linked to a document field of documents in a document management system. An enabler application captures a field value for the interface field and an operation identification from the host application. A context rule database contains a plurality of context rules that are accessed based upon the operation identification, where the context rule identifies a type of document that is relevant to the identified operation. A document management system is configured to be queried based on the field value and the relevant document type, where the document management system is configured to return document data based on said query, and where the interface of the computer system is configured to be updated based on the returned document data.

Abstract: A system and method for document management for processing forms on a personal computer while isolated from a network. The forms may be Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) forms stored on a personal computer isolated from a network. The forms have data fields for data submission. Data is input into a selected form and a submit command is executed to submit the entered data. Execution of the submit command stores the data to a file on the personal computer. Once the personal computer is connected to the network, the stored data is sent to a central computer connected to the network.

Abstract: Systems and methods for retrieving documents stored in a document management system based upon data from an application. While an interface is displayed, associations are created between one or more fields on the application's interface and one or more retrieval-related attributes of the document management system. Data that is subsequently provided for the fields is used to retrieve documents from the document management system based the created associations. The data obtained is used for such other operations as generating bar codes and generating indexes for documents to be stored in a document management system.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for the management and automation of a financial reporting process. A system includes a database that includes data for tracking each of a plurality steps required to perform a financial close for an organization, where steps are either general account tasks required to be completed for the financial close, accounting tasks that constitute accounting controls, or accounting tasks that represent a creation of a journal entry. A graphical user interface provides each user with visibility of steps they are required to perform as part of the financial close and allows that user to record when they have completed a task. The graphical user interface further provides a status of other steps that may be relevant to that user's ability to perform their tasks. A computer program provides monitoring data for financial department management to monitor progress of each of the steps.
