  • Patent number: 11457363
Abstract: A system and method for binding or assigning network access credentials to computer chip modules may include transmitting to a remote server a set of initialization data items each including an identification and a derivation of a secret value; and receiving from the remote server credential files, each including encrypted network access credentials and an initialization data item. For each computer chip module, a credential file may be installed on the computer chip module, an identification and a secret value may be installed on the computer chip module, and binding software may be executed. The execution of the binding software may accept as input the identification and a derivation of the secret value and may cause extraction of the network access credentials if the identification and the secret value when input to a formula result in a match.

  • Publication number: 20220058269
Abstract: Systems and methods for managing a trusted application in a computer chip module include generating a trusted application package (TAP), the TAP comprising an application and an activation code, wherein the TAP is encrypted with a passcode and wherein the activation code is stored in the memory of the computer; receiving from the computer chip module a public key, wherein the public key is part of a pair of asymmetrical transport keys generated by the computer chip module, and wherein the pair of asymmetrical transport keys further comprises a private key; encrypting the passcode with the public key; transmitting the encrypted passcode to the computer chip module, wherein the computer chip module is configured to decrypt the passcode using the private key; and transmitting the TAP to the computer chip module, wherein the TAP is stored in a dedicated folder on the computer chip module.

  • Patent number: 11259172
Abstract: A communication device with a virtual subscriber identify module (SIM) for operating over multiple wireless telephone and internet protocol (IP) networks includes a processor and a virtual subscriber identify module (SIM), which mimics the operation of a physical SIM card. The virtual SIM includes a plurality of mobile network operator (MNO) profiles each MNO profile including a unique telephone network identifier and a unique IP network identifier. The processor is configured to switch mobile network operators for the wireless telephone and internet protocol (IP) networks by changing the MNO profile from a first one of the plurality of MNO profiles to a second one of the plurality of MNO profiles simultaneously enabling communicating over a second one of the plurality of mobile telephone networks and a second one of the plurality of IP networks.

  • Publication number: 20070136805
Abstract: A system for providing connectivity to employer networks for support personnel and consultants who regularly work at customer locations. A secure network mechanism is provided to connect these users at the customer locations with their respective employer networks for the purpose of accessing e-mail, reference material, specialized application databases at their company, etc. Multiple VPNs are provided for the transmission within a customer location and for transmission to the employer servers to maintain security and control at the customer location and across the Internet connection. The customer location may inspect data and control what leaves their facility, while the consultant employer network is allowed to control user access to their own network. Name server information is also transferred between the disparate networks so that a consultant looking for a common server name in his own employer network gets the correct connection instead of the local customer's server connection.
