Patent number: 11248691Abstract: An apparatus for generating impulse-dynamic process forces includes a pressure chamber, a connecting chamber and a bolt chamber. The pressure chamber includes a plunger arranged to be pushed into the pressure chamber for compression of a hydraulic medium located therein. In the connecting chamber there is displaceably arranged a stepped piston which has a valve body for closing an orifice connecting the pressure chamber to the connecting chamber. In the bolt chamber there is located a displaceable impact bolt which has a first bolt portion and a second bolt portion. The first bolt portion seals an interior space of the bolt chamber that surrounds the second bolt portion. Connected to the bolt chamber there is at least one pressure reservoir containing pressurised pressure medium, which pressure reservoir is in communicating connection via a connection port with the interior space of the bolt chamber.Type: GrantFiled: August 9, 2016Date of Patent: February 15, 2022Assignee: Hatebur Umformmaschinen AGInventor: Mihai Vulcan

Patent number: 11040405Abstract: A method is disclosed for shearing an end section from a rod material by means of a cutting blade that is movable against a stationary blade, transversely with respect to the longitudinal direction of the rod material, during the shearing operation. The end section to be sheared is brought into contact on its end-face side with a longitudinal stop and is acted on, via the longitudinal stop, with a pressure force in the longitudinal direction of the rod material. The action of pressure force on the end section takes place during the shearing operation with a position-controlled longitudinal position of the longitudinal stop. It is thus possible to manage with a lower pressure force than with conventional force-controlled pressure force action, without the shearing quality of the separation faces at the end section being impaired.Type: GrantFiled: July 18, 2017Date of Patent: June 22, 2021Assignee: Hatebur Umformmaschinen AGInventor: Mihai Vulcan

Patent number: 10786845Abstract: An actuator device includes two drive units for an actuator output element. The first drive unit has a first piston chamber and a first piston displaceable therein and also first hydraulic means for displacing the piston. The second drive unit has a second piston chamber and a second piston displaceable therein and also second hydraulic or pneumatic means for displacing the piston. The second piston is joined to the actuator output element for conjoint movement therewith and can be coupled to the first piston for thrust, so that the second piston is displaceable in an outward direction by the first piston. The first drive unit is configured for a larger thrust force than the second drive unit, while the second drive unit is designed for a greater stroke speed than the first drive unit.Type: GrantFiled: October 26, 2016Date of Patent: September 29, 2020Assignee: Hatebur Umformmaschinen AGInventors: Mihai Vulcan, Bernhard Zervas

Patent number: 9545660Abstract: In order to produce a formed part furnished with a through hole, a rod material is advanced by a defined length in the direction of its lengthwise extension into a forming die through a stationary guide and then immobilised by a clamping arrangement that engages with it circumferentially. The end portion of the rod material is then axially swaged by a swaging tool and is thus shaped into a disc, the circumference of which is defined by the forming die. The disc is then penetrated axially by a dishing tool and impact extruded at the same time, the displaced material flowing between the dishing tool and the inner circumferential wall of the forming die. The formed part located in the forming die is then rotated coaxially relative to the rest of the rod material and thereby separated from the rest of the rod material by torsion shearing.Type: GrantFiled: November 26, 2010Date of Patent: January 17, 2017Assignee: Hatebur Umformmaschinen AGInventors: Christian Burgin, Thomas Christoffel, Andreas Matt, Patrick Stemmelin, Mihai Vulcan

Patent number: 9120142Abstract: To produce a molded part with a through-hole, a rod-shaped blank is pushed through a guide into a cavity and fixed in place. The end region of the blank is compressed and reshaped into a disk. A disk core having the same cross-sectional shape as the blank is ejected out of the disk using a punch and pushed into the guide and moved back together with the unshaped part of the blank. The disk is severed from the disk core and the molded part is removed from the cavity. During the penetration step, the disk present in the cavity is subjected to an axial pressure in the disk core ejection direction and the blank is subjected to an axial counter-force opposite to the disk core ejection direction.Type: GrantFiled: October 2, 2009Date of Patent: September 1, 2015Assignee: Hatebur Umformmaschinen AGInventors: Andreas Matt, Mihai Vulcan
