  • Publication number: 20220245747
Abstract: A caller is verified by receiving a unique identifier from the caller, identifying an account based at least in part on the unique identifier, sending a soft token verification request to an identity provider to send a soft token push notification to a device associated with an owner of the account, and receiving a result of the soft token push notification from the identity provider. Upon the result of the soft token push notification being successful, the caller is classified as verified for the account.

  • Patent number: 10719831
Abstract: The invention provides systems and method for securely inputting user data from a user into a mobile device and also for generating user data to be input by a user into a mobile device. For example, there is provided a mobile device case for securely inputting user data from a user into a mobile device, the case comprising: a microcontroller, a communication module for communicating with the mobile device and a user interface to enable the user to input the user data. The microcontroller is preferably configured to receive the user data which is input by a user via the user interface, process said user data to create processed data and communicate said processed data to said mobile device. Alternatively, the microcontroller is configured to receive a request to generate the user data; generate said user data and display said user data on the user interface.

  • Publication number: 20170331819
Abstract: Broadly speaking, embodiments of the present invention provide systems and methods to provide a solution to the SIM swap attack problem for users that possess smartphones. In particular, the systems and methods require an online banking customer to authenticate a transaction using a combined one-time password (OTP) formed of a remotely generated OTP (generated remote to the smartphone) and a locally generated OTP (generated on the smartphone).

  • Patent number: 7867212
Abstract: A method for manufacturing fastener ears for absorbent articles and other garments includes the step of cutting a wave-shaped pattern along the longitudinal axis of an elongated strip of material. The wave-shaped cutting pattern is substantially centered along the strip and divides the strip into a first web and a second web. Each web has a series of ear shapes, with each ear shape having a wave crest portion. Each wave crest portion has a first edge with a convex curvature. The method also includes the step of cutting each of the ear shapes out of its respective web to form a plurality of fastener ears. A fastener ear formed by such method is also contemplated.

  • Patent number: 6821535
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for the hard panning of chewable cores in a pan or drum wherein a syrup of a crystallizable sugar or polyol is intermittently sprayed over a bed of the cores and the cores are dried between sprayings with a flow of air. The speed and efficiency of the panning process is increased by controlling the drying of the cores between sprayings by controlling parameters of the drying air in such a way as to intentionally leave a substantial residual moisture in the drying coating layer at the start of a subsequent spraying phase. The chewable products are preferably xylitol coated chewing gums.
