  • Patent number: 11127278
Abstract: A hand hygiene monitoring system is provided. The system includes a wearable tag device coupled to a user, and a reader device communicably coupled to the wearable tag device. The reader device is configured to detect a presence of the wearable tag device by receiving a first frequency message comprising a user identifier from the wearable tag device. The reader device is further configured to transmit a second frequency message to the wearable tag device requesting event log data. The second frequency has a higher frequency than the first frequency. The reader device is further configured to receive an event log data message from the wearable tag device at the second frequency, and to determine whether the wearable tag device has logged a wash station encounter within a configurable time period based on the event log data message.

  • Publication number: 20210047007
Abstract: A table top assembly for a watercraft table assembly includes an upwardly-disposed top surface, a downwardly-disposed bottom surface spaced vertically from the top surface, and a plurality of side surfaces extending between the top and bottom surfaces and cooperating with the top and bottom surfaces to form a body portion, wherein the body portion comprises polyurethane foam having a density within a range of between about 20 lbs/ft3 and about 25 lbs/ft3, and wherein the body portion has a substantially homogeneous composition throughout, and wherein one or more of the top surface and the plurality of side surfaces includes an integrally molded textured surface.

  • Publication number: 20180122214
Abstract: A hand hygiene monitoring system is provided. The hand hygiene monitoring system includes a wearable device coupled to a user, and a beacon associated with a hand hygiene station and configured to communicate with the wearable device. The wearable device is configured to initiate monitoring for a hand hygiene operation based on determining the wearable device is located within a predetermined distance from the beacon, and monitor hand hygiene parameters associated with the hand hygiene operation. The hand hygiene parameters are associated with a quality level of the hand hygiene operation performed by the user.

  • Publication number: 20160278745
Abstract: Devices for collection and elution of oral fluid samples and the like enable collection and elution of samples by using a handle in the form of a rod having a collection pad thereon which is inserted into a collection tube. The collection tube has an adaptor with a narrowed portion associated therewith for squeezing the pad to wring a sample therefrom. In an alternative embodiment, the collection tube has a narrowed portion that squeezes the pad as the pad is inserted there though. Caps are provided to 1) support the rod in an assembly with the adaptor and collection tube to form an assembled sample collection device and 2) to close the collection tube after the handle and pad are removed from the collection tube subsequent to depositing the sample elution solution therein. The eluted sample can be used for detection of an analyte.
