Abstract: A sign holder has side members with ears that clamp onto a ceiling grid to support a sign. A flexible web joined to the side members allows the side walls to flex outwardly to allow the ears to snap over opposite sides of the ceiling grid. The side members are joined to a base connected to a channel member accommodating hooks connected to the sign. A gripping tool has jaws that engage the holder to install and remove the holder from the ceiling grid.

Abstract: A sign holder assembly is used to pendently support signs, posters and like material from a ceiling or overhead support. The holder assembly has a semi-flexible plastic clip that snaps over a ceiling grid to hang a sign from a ceiling. A hook slides into a groove in the bottom of the clip to lock the clip on the ceiling grid. The lower end of the hook extends through an eyelet in the sign to support the sign.

Abstract: A magnetic holder for a merchandising display sign is mounted on the corner of an upright metal support. A permanent magnet wedged between a pair of metal plates is enclosed within an elongated right angle shaped body shell thereby providing horizontal stability and a strong-holding force to firmly retain holder on the support. An upright cylindrical adaptor attached to the top of the body shell is used to accommodate the shaft of a sign.

Abstract: An air guard assembly used to direct air forced through an overhead air diffuser toward the floor of a building. The assembly has a plurality of elongated linear baffles. Each baffle has a strip of magnetic material that adheres directly to metal ceiling structures to surround and enclose the diffuser within the assembly. A gripping tool having an elongated handle is used to locate the baffle adjacent the metal ceiling surface and remove the baffle therefrom. The baffle has a pair of grooves preventing the gripping tool from slipping off the baffle.
