Patent number: 8378472Abstract: In order to easily inject underfill resin and perform molding with reliability, groove sections are formed on a surface of a circuit board such that the ends of the groove sections extend to semiconductor elements. Low-viscosity underfill resin applied dropwise is guided by the groove sections and flows between the circuit board and the semiconductor elements. The underfill resin hardly expands to regions outside the semiconductor elements.Type: GrantFiled: October 16, 2008Date of Patent: February 19, 2013Assignee: Panasonic CorporationInventors: Koso Matsuno, Atsushi Yamaguchi, Shigeaki Sakatani, Hidenori Miyakawa, Mikiya Ueda

Patent number: 8345444Abstract: A structure with electronic component mounted therein includes a wiring board on which an electronic component is mounted at least on its first face, resin provided at least between the electronic component and the wiring board, and a plurality of holes formed in the wiring board at region corresponding to a mounting position of the electronic component. The holes are filled with the resin. This suppresses warpage of the structure with electronic component mounted therein, and also improves reliability by reducing a stress applied to a bonding section between the wiring board and the electronic component.Type: GrantFiled: October 21, 2008Date of Patent: January 1, 2013Assignee: Panasonic CorporationInventors: Shigeaki Sakatani, Koso Matsuno, Atsushi Yamaguchi, Hidenori Miyakawa, Mikiya Ueda

Patent number: 7401739Abstract: An inventive card-type portable information processing device case permits a user to select a mode in which a card-type portable information processing device is taken out of the case with a cap attached thereto or a mode in which the card-type portable information processing device is taken out of the case with the cap detached therefrom and engaged with the first cover. The inventive case includes a cap engagement portion (15) provided in a first cover (1). By moving the card-type portable information processing device (30) in a direction A, the card-type portable information processing device (30) is taken out of the case with the cap (40) attached thereto. By moving the card-type portable information processing device (30) in a direction C, only the card-type portable information processing device (30) is taken out of the case with the cap (40) engaged in the cap engagement portion (15) of the first cover (1).Type: GrantFiled: April 6, 2005Date of Patent: July 22, 2008Assignee: Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd.Inventors: Chikanori Miyawaki, Mikiya Ueda, Yoshiaki Akutagawa

Patent number: 7258577Abstract: The present invention provides a thin connector in which contacts to be brought into contact with terminals of a memory card are less liable to be deformed when the connector is assembled or an external force is exerted on the connector. The contacts (4) are located at a lower level than upper surfaces of protective projections (3a), and distal ends of the contacts (4) are located at a higher level than lower surfaces of the protective projections (3a). This prevents the deformation of the contacts, and allows the connector to have a smaller thickness. Further, the contacts are located at a lower level than the upper surfaces of the protective projections when the protective projections are deformed to be brought into contact with bottom portions of recesses of the memory card. Thus, the contacts are less liable to be deformed by an external force.Type: GrantFiled: September 6, 2004Date of Patent: August 21, 2007Assignee: Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., LtdInventors: Chikanori Miyawaki, Mikiya Ueda, Yoshiaki Akutagawa

Patent number: 7236371Abstract: In a PC card incorporating a printed board, an electronic component having a greater height can be mounted on the printed board without reducing the strength of a cover. The PC card includes a cover member (1) and a main cover (2) at least one of which is formed with at least one opening (2a) for prevention of interference with an electronic component (4), and a plate member (8) closing the opening from the outside of the cover member or the main cover. An outer surface of the plate member (8) is located at substantially the same level as an outer surface of the cover member (1) or the main cover (2), and the plate member (8) has a smaller thickness than the cover member and the main cover. This arrangement increases the strength of the cover.Type: GrantFiled: August 25, 2004Date of Patent: June 26, 2007Assignee: Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd.Inventors: Chikanori Miyawaki, Mikiya Ueda, Yoshiaki Akutagawa

Patent number: 6115209Abstract: A cassette holder 2, with a locking hook 2a and a fish hook 2c beneath a lower face of the holder 2 and having a loaded cassette 1 therein, is pressed downward by pushing a top plate 4 and moved toward a chassis frame 6. A mis-insertion-proof panel 11 disposed on a back plate 7 by a supporting shaft is rotated on a rotation supporting shaft 14 by sliding along the lower face of the holder 2. When the cassette holder 2 reaches to a lower end position, the panel swings into a space between a rear face of the cassette 1 and the back plate 7, at the same time, the locking hook 2a is engaged with the sliding lock shaft (not shown), thereby completing a cassette loading. Contrary to the downward movement, in an upward movement of the holder 2 until its upper end position, the mis-insertion-proof panel 11 rotates on the rotation supporting shaft 14, and engaging shafts 12 provided on an edge of the panel 11 slides along the lower face of the holder 2 until the shafts 12 are engaged with the hook 2c.Type: GrantFiled: November 10, 1998Date of Patent: September 5, 2000Assignee: Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd.Inventors: Yukihiro Araki, Yoshiaki Nakamura, Mikiya Ueda
