  • Publication number: 20230087155
Abstract: Path specific rolling resistance is determined in a method including: receiving, from a first source, first rolling resistance data of a first set of road surface portions of a corresponding first set of times; receiving, from a second source, second rolling resistance data of a second set of road surface portions of a corresponding second set of times; determining, using any of the first rolling resistance data and the second rolling resistance data, a path specific rolling resistance for a given path including one or more of the road surface portions selected from the first and second set of road surface portions; and providing at least one target vehicle with the path specific rolling resistance or a derivative of the path specific rolling resistance.

  • Publication number: 20220299446
Abstract: An apparatus and a method including, receiving by a server, from a first vehicle, a first optical measurement result of a surface of a road, wherein the first optical measurement result is associated with a first location of the road, receiving by the server, from a second vehicle, a second optical measurement result of the surface of the road associated with the first location of the road and calibrating a sensor of the second vehicle at the server based on a difference between the first and the second optical measurement results associated with the first location of the road.

  • Patent number: 10347097
Abstract: A plug for detecting tampering of a container is configured to close an opening of the container. The plug includes an attachment device for attaching the plug to the opening of the container, a motion sensor for sensing rotation of the plug with respect to the container, a communication device for communicating with a server, a microcontroller unit and a memory unit. The microcontroller unit is configured to compare a sensed rotation of the plug to a service schedule stored in the memory and detect the tampering of the container based on the comparison.

  • Patent number: 10088416
Abstract: A device for non-invasively determining existence of a gas component of interest inside a determination space of a glass unit comprises a laser beam emitting unit comprising a laser source for emitting laser beam towards said measuring space and detecting unit comprising a detector for detecting transmission of said emitted laser beams traveled through said space. The device is configured to measure in a calibration mode locations of at least one reference peak of at least same gas component as to the determined inside the determination space. The emitted laser beam is configured to travel through a calibration space having at least the gas component of interest, and the detecting means is configured essentially to detect or image said beam transmitted through said calibration space.

  • Patent number: 9730178
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for identifying location of a first container within a group of containers. Each container has an identification code and includes a sensor unit. The sensor unit includes communication means and a movement detector. The method includes at least a first sensor unit of the first container transmitting a first message including a first identification code of the first container, and at least one communication module receiving the first message. The at least one communication module analyzes the received first message, compares the received first identification code to a list of stored identification codes, updates the list of stored identification codes by addition of the first identification code when the first identification code is absent from the list, and transmits a second message to a server, the second message including the first identification code for the server to update the location of the first container.
