  • Patent number: 10390789
Abstract: Disclosed herein are a two-dimensional X-ray detector provided with a table of the position and size of a region-of-interest so as to change the position and size of the region-of-interest for each frame, and a cone-beam CT apparatus using the same and an operation method thereof. ROI projection data of a high resolution for a set ROI may be acquired, and the binning technique may be applied to non-ROI projection data created by the X-rays emitted onto a non-ROI region to acquire low-resolution data. Thereby, the amount of projection data may be reduced.

  • Patent number: 8157718
Abstract: The present invention relates to an electric circuit having a transformer capable of functioning as a buffer inductor, and a magnetic stimulator using the transformer. The electric circuit of the present invention includes a power supply unit, and rectification means for rectifying current from the power supply unit. A transformer has an inductor on a primary side connected to the power supply unit. A capacitor is connected to an inductor on a secondary side of the transformer. Reverse flow prevention means is connected in series between the capacitor and the transformer to prevent charges stored in the capacitor from reversely flowing toward the transformer. A discharge inductor receives charges stored in the capacitor as discharge current and forms a magnetic field. First switching means turns on or off flow of the discharge current that flows in one direction. Bypass means causes current to flow in one direction.

  • Patent number: 7561659
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for reconstructing an X-ray CT (computerized tomography) image. The method includes acquiring projection data by means of irradiation of X-rays on a target object at a position close to an X-ray generator such that a portion of the target object including a local region of interest exists within a range of irradiation angles of X-rays, calculating virtual projection data on the assumption that the X-rays are irradiated on the entire target object at the close position, based on projection data acquired through irradiation of the X-rays on the entire target object at a position where the entire target object exists within the range of irradiation angles of X-rays, combining the virtual projection data on the entire target object except data on the local region of interest with the projection data acquired at the position close to the X-ray generator, and reconstructing the combined projection data.
