Abstract: The present invention relates to systems and methods for catalytic removal of oxidized contaminants (for example, nitrite, chromate, chlorate, trichloroethene, CFC-11, 4-nonylphenol, RDX, and perfluorooctanoate) from water and wastewater. In some aspects, the catalytic method of removing oxidized contaminants comprises using precious metal nanoparticles as catalysts to reduce the oxidized contaminants.

A bow berthing module of the present invention moors the vessel. After a guiding structure of the bow berthing module straightly aligns bow direction of the vessel, a wireless power supplying module of a side berthing module matches with the wireless power receiving module then charges the vessel.

The system and methods utilize a catalyst film and a biofilm to synergystically remove PFAS from water. In some aspects, the catalyst film reduces and defluorinates PFAS into less fluorinated counterparts of PFAS, and the biofilm metabolizes the less fluroinated counterparts of PFAS into CO2 or shorter chain PFAS.
