  • Patent number: 6007074
Abstract: The single-foot drivable skate and skateboard is constituted of the simultaneously steering-driving mechanism, synchronous differential driving mechanism, wheel and board. The simultaneously steering-driving mechanism comprises a universal pedal, the driving-steering rod and the single pole truck. The single pole truck pivotally supports the board with a pivot joint or ball joint. The driving-steering rod slides in the slot passing through the pivotal joint and the truck. The synchronous differential driving mechanism made of the noncontact gripping force or the upper-bounded gripping force includes the engaging drums shifted by the shift screws. The shift screws are knotched at the ends of the crankshaft axis. With the manipulation of a sole or heel, the skate or skateboard can twist the pedal to skate, tread the pedals to skate forward and backward, accelerate, decelerate, free-run, brake, turn right and left.

  • Patent number: 6009063
Abstract: A universal portable minidisk drive system adopts the (1) universal head (2) laser pin (3) timing/coordinate clock track to have the long-time, continue-playing for all the different disk media such as optic disk, magnetic disk or magnetopic disk. The universal head enables the universal disk to read/write all the different disk that the portable computer only needs to have one kind of disk drive. The laser pin pushes the track density to the extreme limit that the minidisk can store a large amount data. The timing/coordinate clock track introduces the (track, sector) coordinate system to the disk that the access/recover time is reduced. The disk drive can play continuously in the vibrant environment.

  • Patent number: 5850093
Abstract: The flash device is a field effect single cell device. The flash device has the source laying under the gate. The variance of gate voltage has the direct capacitor coupling and current injecting effects with the source to speed up the response of circuit. Furthermore, the process of the flash device is comparable with the CMOS device. It is an ideal device for the output buffer which has the anti-ground-bounce and anti-power-droop capabilities. The single cell technology is applied to the single cell active pixel to integrate four different components into one cell. The versatile operation is applied to have the super-flash EEPROM.

  • Patent number: 5793125
Abstract: The add-on smart socket adaptor integrates electric facilicities and/or home appliances to be an intelligent system for the home automation. The add-on smart socket adaptor has the add-on multiple different sensors to detect the complex environmental changes as the inputs of the programmed logic to make the complex decision function to generate the output to turn on and/or turn off the multiple different home appliances and electrical facilities smoothly, separately and cooperatively. The add-on smart socket also can be built-in to integrate with the home appliances and electrical facilities to have the home automation. The add-on smart socket adaptor provides the open platform and standard for the synthesis of home automation integrated system.

  • Patent number: 5111076
Abstract: The output buffer uses the output feedback control to control the transmission speed of the input signal. With the output feedback control, the NMOS and PMOS has the different switching speed. As the output node switches from 0 to 1 state, the NMOS turns off before the turning on of PMOS. As the output node switches from 1 state to 0 state, the PMOS turns off before the turning on of NMOS. There are the multiple functions: nonoverlapping switch, the soft-turn switch and the speed-up fast switch. The short current between the power and ground is eliminated; the ground bounce and the power surge are reduced.
