Abstract: The present invention relates to a biodegradable copolymer polyester resin comprising an anhydrosugar alcohol and an anhydrosugar alcohol-alkylene glycol and a method for preparing same and, more specifically, to a polyester resin and a method for preparing same, wherein the polyester resin is excellent in color value and biodegradability as well as heat resistance and mechanical properties, by copolymerizing specific contents of a dicarboxyl component containing adipic acid or an ester thereof and a diol component containing an anhydrosugar alcohol and an anhydrosugar alcohol-alkylene glycol.

Abstract: A Maclura pubescens extract or fraction or a Prunus cerasoides extract or fraction having neuroglobin (Ngb) activation and neuroprotective effects and, on the basis thereof, a neuroprotective composition containing, as an active ingredient, a Maclura pubescens extract or fraction or a Prunus cerasoides extract or fraction. The neuroprotective composition can be used, through the activation of neuroglobin (Ngb), as a pharmaceutical composition or a food composition for treatment, alleviation and prevention of a stroke, a cerebral infarction, thrombosis, cerebral degenerative disease, vascular dementia, memory loss, short-term memory impairment, a concentration disorder, anxiety, nervousness and the like, and for brain damage protection, brain function improvement and cranial nerve cell protection.

Abstract: Disclosed are antibrowning agents containing the extracts of chrysanthemum indicum for preventing browning of fruits and vegetables, wherein the extracts of chrysanthemum having good effects on inhibition of polyphenol oxidase activity effectively prevent the browning of fruits and vegetables.

Abstract: A method for preparing pyrazolopyrimidinone derivatives and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts having efficacy on the treatment of impotence, one of male sexual dysfunctions. The method comprises the steps of: a) chlorosulfonating a pyrazolamide compound to obtain a chlorosulfonated compound; b) reacting the chlorosulfonated compound of step (a) with a primary amine to obtain a sulfonamide compound and c) performing an intramolecular cyclization of the sulfonamide compound of step (b) to produce the compound of formula below 1, wherein the steps b) and c) are performed in situ in alcohol by adding a base to the reaction mixture without workup after the step b) is completed.

Abstract: The present invention relates to the method for preparing pyrazolopyrimidinone derivatives and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts having efficacy on the treatment of impotence, one of male sexual dysfunctions. The method according to the present invention comprises the steps of chlorosufonation the pyrazolamide, followed by amination with amine and intramolecular cyclization. The method provides the pyrazolopyrimidinone derivatives and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts with high yield and in an economic manner.
