The control method of an electronic device, according to the present disclosure, comprises the steps of: capturing a marker object including a handwriting image to obtain an image; obtaining information on at least one product corresponding to the handwriting image; and if one of the at least one product is selected, synthesizing and displaying an image of the product on an area where the marker object image is located, on the basis of the information on the selected product, information on the size of the marker object, and information on the size of the marker object image.
