  • Patent number: 11933142
Abstract: An instrumented wiper dart configurable at the wellsite comprising any combination of a sealing member, a sensor sub, an electronics package, and a communication system; wherein the sealing member is cylindrical in shape, releasably coupled to the wiper assembly, and configured to sealingly engage the inner surface of a workstring. The sensor sub is release releasably coupled to the wiper assembly, and includes one or more sensors to measure a property of the wellbore environment. The electronics package is releasably coupled to the wiper assembly, configured to receive one or more data sets from the sensor sub, and transmit one or more data sets to the communication sub. The communication sub is configured to transmit the one or more data sets; and wherein the instrumented wiper plug is displaced down the workstring in response to a volume of fluid pumped from surface.

  • Patent number: 11585175
Abstract: An actuator is provided that includes a housing, a linear actuating shaft disposed within the housing, a piston coupled with the shaft, and a fluid barrier disposed on an end of the shaft and encircled by the piston. The piston is movable longitudinally between an extended configuration and a retracted configuration upon rotation of the shaft. The fluid barrier engages an inner surface of the piston preventing fluid communication across the fluid barrier. The fluid barrier has a shaft engaging side which receives the shaft and a fluid facing side. A cavity is formed between the piston and the fluid facing side and expands when the piston moves to the extended configuration and contracts when the piston moves to the retracted configuration. A port is disposed in the piston and extends from the cavity to external the piston thereby permitting fluid communication between the cavity and external the piston.

  • Patent number: 10914162
Abstract: Aspects of the subject technology relate to a downhole protective housing for electronic components including a circuit board. The protective housing can include a chassis comprising two elongate side rails, a circuit board located between the pair of elongate side rails, an armature fixedly coupled to the chassis, a buffer coupled to the circuit board. The protective housing can further include a substantially cylindrical intermediate sleeve, a substantially cylindrical outer case, and a pair of end caps, one each located at opposite distal ends of the protective housing.
