  • Publication number: 20130228046
Abstract: A pair of hose clamp pliers for clamping a hose is provided with two clamping plates. The pliers include two clamping ends capable of moving toward or away from each other. The two clamping plates are fixedly connected to the two clamping ends and provided with movement guide protrusions and movement stop protrusions. With the protrusions formed along the periphery of the two clamping plates and the gaps defined by the protrusions, the hose clamp pliers can clamp the hose clamp in different directions, so that it can be adapted to different work requirements or environments, for example, in a narrow space. Further, the movement guide protrusions and movement stop protrusions restrict the hose clamp in two different directions, so as to improve clamping stability.

  • Publication number: 20130014618
Abstract: A locking pliers includes a fixed handle supporting a fixed jaw, a movable jaw, a movable handle pivotally connected to the movable jaw about a pivotal axis, and a movable pivot unit disposed on the fixed handle and the movable jaw. The pivot unit includes a pivot pin and a pivot hole configured to loosely receive the pivot pin such that, when a manual turning force is applied to the movable handle, the movable jaw is turned clockwise to a locking position. As a result of abutting engagement between the pivot pin and a leading region of the pivot hole, a friction force is generated to hold the movable jaw in a tightening position. The gripping force between fixed and movable clamping surfaces of the jaws can be firm and stable.

  • Publication number: 20100107823
Abstract: A pair of hose clamp pliers comprises a pair of hose clamp pliers and two clamping plates. The pliers include two clamping ends capable of moving toward or away from each other. The two clamping plates are fixedly connected to the two clamping ends, and the respective clamping plates are formed with at least one opening. When in use, the two clamping plates are used to clamp the hose clamp, and the hose clamp pliers are used to fix the positions of the two clamping ends, so that the user can position the hose clamp without exerting a continuous force.

  • Patent number: 7454999
Abstract: A restricting member with an engaging structure for a pair of locking pliers comprises a first pivoting portion, a second pivoting portion and the engaging structure. The engaging structure extends out of an upper part of the restricting member, so that it can be positioned in a groove of a side handle, and makes a supporting portion of a linking member press against the groove of the side handle. The restricting member not only saves space and cost for it needs no additional subassemblies, but also makes the assembling work more convenient.

  • Publication number: 20080216615
Abstract: This invention is to propose an improved structure of pliers that can clip objects of various shapes easily and tightly. It comprises: a recessed main body that mounts, in one side, with a fixed pliers jaw and a movable pliers jaw, and collaborates with an adjusting screw in the other side. The movable pliers jaw is also, in another end, mounted with a pressing lever that also mounts with an elbow device and a releasing lever. Further, a spring is set between the main body and movable pliers jaw. The improved feature of this invention is that both the fixed and movable pliers jaws have toothed faces in their front ends that can engage firmly with each other, and form a proper-sized room to clip working objects of various shapes firmly and tightly, and also, the toothed faces of both jaws can used to clip string-shaped objects to perform tasks as necessary.

  • Publication number: 20080173143
Abstract: A pair of universal pliers comprises a first plier body, a second plier body, an extension spring, an adjusting rod, a linkage bar and a turning rod. A pivot point where the second handle is pivotally coupled to the second jaw, an end point of the arc-shaped groove, and the other end point of the arc-shaped groove are arranged on the same straight line, so that no matter the pivot pin is positioned at either end point of the arc-shaped groove, it ensures that the first jaw is opened or closed horizontally with respect to the second jaw. Consequently, it doesn't only have a wide application range, but also the tense operation of the extension spring is helpful to clamping a work piece in a surface-to-surface manner, thus ensuring a firm clamping operation against slippage.

  • Publication number: 20040127318
Abstract: A chain-tensing device for an engine gear includes a nearly L-shaped connect arm and a pair of tensing rollers. The connect arm has three connect ends, a first connect end having a torque spring functioning as a buffer for the connect arm, a second and third connect ends respectively connected pivotally with an upper tensing roller and a lower tensing roller. The first connect end is pivotally fixed on a vehicle body, and the second and the third connect ends extend toward the chain so that the upper and the lower tensing roller may push the upper and the lower portion of the chain to always force the chain in a tense condition regardless of any condition of a road the vehicle may run on, and then the chain is always prevented from falling off gears the chain extends around.
