  • Patent number: 10800270
Abstract: An improved enclosed electric motorcycle has an electric motor directly driving the rear wheel with a chain or a belt. A pair of steering handles and an accelerator foot pedal enables a driver to drive the motorcycle like an automobile. The pair of the landing wheel assemblies individually has a take-up assembly to reduce their sprung weights, and has an electric motor to increase reliability. By adding a pair of anti-skid wheels, the driver can avoid many accidents. An inflatable safety belt and a pair of side airbags will protect the driver in an accident. If the battery pack explodes, it will be ejected away from the motorcycle to protect the driver. A drive-in electric engaging device enables the driver to drive the motorcycle to engage with a stationary charging station for charging its battery pack while parking.

  • Patent number: 9962487
Abstract: An automatic sensing and warning device for placing an intravenous drip includes a transmitter unit, a blocking unit, a receiver unit, and a fixing device. The transmitter unit is attachable to an injection site on a patient's hand and is operable to transmit an identification signal. The receiver unit is arranged on the blocking unit and includes a drive circuit and a warning device. The fixing device supports the blocking unit and the receiver unit on the intravenous drip pole. The RF receiver is set at a predetermined vertical distance from a drip chamber and areas above and below the RF receiver are respectively defined as dangerous and safe areas. When the injection site is spaced from the drip chamber by a distance shorter than the predetermined distance, the RF receiver receives the identification signal from the RF transmitter and the drive circuit activates the warning device to issue warnings.

  • Patent number: 4790336
Abstract: A dental floss applicator comprises a fork having a pair of elongated legs projecting from an elongated handle, a container on the handle for storing a supply of dental floss, and a reel on one side of the handle for being rotated to withdraw a continuous string of dental floss under tension from the container and pass the dental floss from the container along the length of one leg, across the distance between the tips of the legs, after which the floss extends along the length of the other leg and is then wound on a rotatable post on the underside of the handle. The reel and post rotate in unison so that as they rotate, the dental floss is continuously fed from the container across the distance between the tips of the legs where the floss is held under tension for use in teeth cleaning. The relative diameter of the post and reel provide a differential tensioning arrangement for applying a controlled tension to the dental floss across the distance between the tips of the legs.

  • Patent number: 3947909
Abstract: A power-driven kitchen utility tool comprises a drive motor mounted on a two-way swivel, and an articulated, hand-positioned drive mechanism for transmitting power from the motor to a rotary-driven kitchen implement such as a sink brush or mixer blades. The articulated drive mechanism includes an elongated rotary drive shaft engaged with the motor output shaft, an elongated rotary-driven output shaft having a working end to which the rotary kitchen implement is attached, and a speed-reducing gear assembly connected between the drive shaft and the output shaft. The gear assembly provides two-way swivel motion of the output shaft relative to the drive shaft during operation of the motor, and permits the output shaft and the kitchen implement to swivel to a completely collapsed rest position adjacent the motor.
