    Abstract: A connector includes an insulating housing, terminals assembled in the insulating housing, a first shell having a receiving space surrounded by a top plate, two lateral plates and a bottom plate for receiving the insulating housing therein, and a second shell having a base board electrically fixed on the top plate. Two sides of the top plate define two first openings spaced from each other and communicating with the receiving space. A rear side of each first opening extends forward to form an elastic arm with a free end arched downward into the receiving space. Two sides of the base board define two second openings corresponding to the first openings. A rear side of each second opening protrudes forward to form an extending arm resting against a top of the elastic arm for strengthening insertion and extraction strength of the elastic arms acting on a plug connector.

The insulating housing has a receiving chamber penetrating through a rear thereof. The insulating housing defines two buckling grooves with rears thereof being narrower than fronts thereof, and two fixing grooves connecting with insides of the buckling grooves. The buckling part is inserted in the buckling groove, and has a base arm, a contact arm and a fixing arm having a greater width than that of the base arm to be buckled in the front of the buckling groove. The locking element is inserted in the fixing groove, and has a base board resisting against the fixing arm, a fastening portion and a hook grappling an inside of the fixing groove. The fastening portion is located between the inside of the fixing groove and the fixing arm.

The probe pin assembly has a cylindraceous barrel received in the inserting hole, an elastic element accommodated in the barrel, and a plunger. The barrel has a notch at a rear end of a periphery thereof for engaging with the mating lump. A conduct element of strip shape is extended rearwards from the rear end of the barrel, and exposed out of the insulating housing through the channel for being soldered to a PCB.

A free end of the second elastic arm is pivotably connected with a middle portion of the sliding body. The limiting slices are fixed in the damping shell and rotatably around the column portion of the damping body, the limiting pieces and the rotating pieces are staggeredly arranged. Damping oil is filled between the adjacent limiting slices and the rotating slices. The outer gasket is disposed on the basic portion of the damping body and pressed against the shell body.

A damper body rotatablely installed in the cavity has a head protruding to form a cylindrical guiding portion and a pushing portion defining two side ends apart from each other. At least one of the side ends has a step-shaped profile to make the width of the pushing portion between the side ends nonuniform, and rotatable sheets and stationary sheets are received in the cavity and alternately disposed on the guiding portion and the pushing portion. The stationary sheets are fixed to the stationary housing. Each of the rotatable sheets protrudes inwardly to form a retaining portion. The side ends of the pushing portion alternately contact the retaining portions and contact the retaining portions at intervals when the elastic force of the hinge assembly is released to drive the damper body rotating. Damper resin is filled between the adjacent stationary sheets and rotatable sheets.

The mounting platform has a groove in alignment with and communicating with the corresponding inserting hole. The probe pin assembly mounted to the inserting hole comprises a cylindraceous barrel, an elastic element received in the barrel, and a plunger mounted to the barrel and exposing from an open end of the barrel. A closed end of the barrel is integrally formed with a soldering portion protruding opposite to the plunger and received in the groove for being soldered to a printed circuited board (PCB) when the PCB is mounted to the mounting platform.

Two sliding blocks are arranged on an outer surface of the damping body and extending helically along the axis direction, the sliding block engaging with the rotating groove. Damping oil is filled between the gaskets, the fixing housing and the damping body.

The damping body has a column portion received in the center hole, the column portion protrudes outward to form a plurality of rotating plates perpendicular to the column portion and parallel each other. The rotating plates engage the corresponding loop-shaped grooves. A bottom of the column portion connects a connecting portion located beneath the damping cover. The outer gasket is arranged around the connecting portion and against an inner side of the damping shell. Damping oil is filled between the outer gasket, the damping shell and the damping body.
