Abstract: A memory card adapter is disclosed to include a connecting substrate with metal contacts, a multi-in-one memory card connector bonded to the connecting substrate for receiving one of a set of memory cards, a connecting terminal set, which has a plurality of metal terminals mounted in an electrically insulative terminal holder block with a rear bonding end of each metal terminal respectively bonded to the metal contacts of the connecting substrate and a front bonding ends for bonding to a PC board, a PC board, which has an electric connector at one end for connection to a notebook computer or the like and a plurality of metal contacts respectively bonded to the front bonding ends of the metal terminals of the connecting terminal set, and an electrically insulative housing, which has a rectangular frame that accommodates the connecting substrate and the PC board and two cover shells respectively covered on top and bottom sides of the rectangular frame over the connecting substrate and the PC board.

Abstract: A memory card connector having an electrically insulative casing covered with a top cover to house first pins at the front side for the contact of a XD memory card, second pins at the rear side for the contact of a MS memory card, and third pins on the middle for the contact of other memory cards. The casing has an elongated slot in the bottom wall, and a spring arm with a protruding block suspending in the elongated slot to hold the power pin of the first pins, for enabling the power pin to be lowered with the spring arm into the elongated slot to prevent the occurrence of a short circuit accidentally upon insertion of a memory card that is not a XD memory card.

Abstract: A self-cleaning terminal matching assembly has a plurality of terminals to match with correspondingly inclined surfaces and cambered arcs so that at least one active terminal and at least one passive terminal are in contact with one another in a self-cleaning manner and the terminals maintain a good contact state. The position for matching the terminals is dependent on the form and kind of each terminal and is not limited. It is preferred that the rigidity strength of the passive terminal is greater than that of the active terminal.

Abstract: A multiple-in-one memory card insertion seat is used to improve the defects of the connection of an MS Duo memory card or an MS Pro Duo memory card and an adaptor card. A shift of the matched slot to a corresponding MS memory card is toward the first pin of the XD terminal group so that the GND pin of the XD memory card is unconnected. Besides, the grounding function of the iron casing is removed so as to avoid that the outer metal layer of the adaptor card is in contact with the first pin and the second pin of the XD memory card causing conductance at the same time due to mistake contacts and crash. Besides, the grounding function of SDIO memory card is not influenced by use of the iron casing arm passing through a contact detection sheet and resisting against the grounding terminal to discharge.

Abstract: A universal memory card adapter is disclosed to have a movable door horizontally pivotally mounted in a stepped receiving open side thereof to control insertion of different memory cards, which movable door has a doorplate pivotally mounted in the stepped receiving open side and dividing the stepped receiving open side into an open type insertion slot and a sheltered insertion slot to match the insertion of different memory cards, a spring member for holding the doorplate in a normal close position, and a control spring strip, which normally stops the doorplate in the normal close position and is disconnected from the doorplate upon insertion of a matching memory card.

Abstract: A four-in-one memory card insertion port has an upper terminal seat and a lower terminal seat. The upper terminal seat has an MS memory card conductive terminal. The lower terminal seat is formed with an SMC conductive terminal, an SD conductive terminal, and an MMC conductive terminals. Thereby, a four-in-one memory card insertion port for MS, SMC, SD, and MMC memory card is formed. Thus interference is avoided and a variety of different memory cards are used in the port.
