  • Publication number: 20220120332
Abstract: A cable-clamp system comprises a base structure and a clamp. The base structure is located within an electronic chassis. The base structure includes an upper region, a first side region, and a second side region. The upper region includes a plurality of cable-receptor cavities for receiving the cables. The first side region includes an opening, and the second side region includes a slot. The clamp includes an engagement surface, a first end, and a second end. The first end includes a hook for insertion into the opening to allow pivoting movement of the clamp relative to the base structure. The second end includes a plunger for retention within the slot. When the clamp pivots downwardly to cause the engagement surface to engage the cables, the plunger is retained within the slot to maintain a clamping force on the cables between the base structure and the clamp.

  • Publication number: 20220112915
Abstract: A mounting system is disclosed that includes a bracket configured to mount an object on a structure. The bracket includes a front panel, two side panels extending from the front panel, and a plurality of slots. Each slot is configured to accept a projection connected to the object and retain the projection within the slot. The bracket further includes a plurality of apertures. The mounting system further includes a retainer configured to extend into the bracket through the plurality of apertures and prevent, at least in part, the plurality of projections, retained by the bracket in the plurality of slots, from being withdrawn from the plurality of slots.

  • Publication number: 20220112910
Abstract: A system for mounting a telecommunication device to a pole comprises a pole-mount kit and a first bracket. The pole-mount kit has first and second clamps for engaging opposite sides of the pole. The pole-mount kit has threaded fasteners extending through openings in the first and second clamps such that a first one of the threaded fasteners is on one side of the pole, and a second one of the threaded fasteners is on the other side of the pole. The threaded fasteners retain the first and second clamps in a fixed engagement on the pole. The first clamp has at least one bore extending through the first clamp in a direction that is transverse to the openings. The first bracket is fixed to the first clamp via a first clamp fastener that extends through the bore. The first bracket is used for mounting the telecommunication device.

  • Publication number: 20220112752
Abstract: A telecommunication device includes a main body to which a compartment is attached for receiving one or more components. A door is rotatable relative to the compartment between a closed position and a plurality of open positions. The door covers the compartment in the closed position. A connecting assembly attaches the door to the compartment, and includes a locking mechanism for preventing rotation of the door in a fixed position. The fixed position corresponds to an open position of the plurality of open positions. The locking mechanism self-locks in the fixed position when the door rotation reaches the fixed position.

  • Publication number: 20220107052
Abstract: A retainer assembly includes a bracket, a base, a plate and a security pin. The bracket includes a front section of the bracket that forms apertures configured to each receive a fastener. The base includes a projection. The plate is located between the base and the bracket. The plate forms apertures configured to each receive a fastener. The plate further forms an aperture being configured to receive the projection extending from the base. The plate rotates in the retainer assembly from a first position to a second position. The security pin is securely mounted on the base. The security pin moves from a first position to a second position to inhibit the plate from rotating from its second position back to its first position.

  • Patent number: 11147183
Abstract: A lever assembly for coupling a computer module to a chassis includes a base lever, a locking tab, and a flexible element positioned between the base lever and the locking tab. The base lever is rotatably coupled to the computer module. The base lever is rotatable between an installed position and an opened position. The locking tab is rotatably coupled to the computer module for engaging a locking surface on the chassis when in a locked position. The locking tab is rotatable between the locked position and an unlocked position. The flexible element is configured to bias the locking tab into the locked position when the base lever is in the installed position. Rotation of the base lever to the opened position induces rotation of the locking tab to the unlocked position.

  • Publication number: 20210216114
Abstract: An electronic device includes a chassis housing one or more electronic components, a module configured to be inserted into a channel defined by the chassis, and an alignment mechanism disposed in the channel. The alignment mechanism has a body portion that defines an aperture. When the module is initially inserted into the channel in a first orientation, a first portion of the module passes over the aperture and compresses the body portion of the alignment mechanism along a first axis, to allow the module to be fully inserted into the channel. When the module is initially inserted into the channel in a second orientation, a second portion of the module passes through the aperture and does not compress the body portion of the alignment mechanism along the first axis, to prevent the module from being fully inserted into the channel.

  • Patent number: 10768675
Abstract: The present disclosure provides for a partition in a chassis, which can transition between at least two positions to receive more than one configuration of modules. The partition can include a first end and a second end, each of which has resting positions adjacent to the chassis body. The partition can further include a middle portion, which is in a raised position above the floor of the chassis body, but can bend flexibly towards the floor. In a first configuration of the chassis, a single, larger module can slide over the partition. In a second configuration of the chassis, two smaller modules can slide into adjacent positions in the chassis body, separated by the partition.
