  • Patent number: 7412766
Abstract: A method of fabricating a coil-embedded inductor provides steps for obtaining uniform density of coil-embedded inductor. The cavity of a first die is filled with dust before being flipped, and then filled with dust a second time. The dust in the cavity is pressed only once for improving the density.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 6, 2005
Date of Patent: August 19, 2008
    Assignee: Delta Electronics, Inc.
    Inventors: Ming-Shan Shiu, Cheng-Hong Lee
  • Publication number: 20070132533
Abstract: A manufacturing method of an embedded inductor comprises the steps of: pre-forming a magnetic core having at least two side walls for defining an accommodating space, disposing a coil in the accommodating space of the magnetic core, and pressing the magnetic core for deconstructing and redistributing tops of the side walls to cover the coil.

  • Publication number: 20060279395
Abstract: A magnetic body for a transforming device or a regulating device is formed by mixing a first magnetic material, a second magnetic material and a resin, and curing the mixture. The average particle size of the first magnetic material ranges from 35 ?m to 125 ?m and the average particle size of the second magnetic material is smaller than 35 ?m.

  • Publication number: 20060269753
Abstract: A production method of a ceramic substrate includes the steps of: providing a graphite substrate and at least one ceramic structure; laminating the ceramic structure and the graphite substrate; and sintering the ceramic structure and the graphite substrate. Moreover, a ceramic substrate, which includes at least one ceramic structure and a graphite substrate, is provided. The ceramic structure and the graphite substrate are laminated. After laminating, the ceramic structure and the graphite substrate are sintered to form a ceramic substrate.

  • Publication number: 20060125586
Abstract: A choke coil includes an embedded core having a first core and a second core embedded within the first core, and a pair of coils wound around the first core and the second core. The first core and the second core are made of different materials which have different initial permeability (?i). The second core has a gap filled with the same material as the first core. For example, the first core includes Fe-base magnetic metal or a Fe-based magnetic alloy for eliminating differential mode noise, and the second core includes ferrite for eliminating common mode noise. Thus, the choke coil can eliminate both common mode noise and differential mode noise at the same time and reduce the whole volume of the choke coil.
