  • Publication number: 20060122057
Abstract: A nanometered gold catalytic coating material for use in gas mask, mouth-muffle, gasoline additive, filter for air cleaner and the like to eliminate the toxicity of carbon monoxide is disclosed to be prepared by: adding gold grains of diameter below 5 nm to an organic solution, and then adding O2 to the solution, thereby causing gold grains to form Au2O2, and then adding porous metal carriers of diameter greater than 5 nm to Au2O2 solution, for enabling Au2O2 to be adhered to the pores in the metal carriers, and thus a nanometered gold catalyzer is thus obtained.

  • Publication number: 20050129853
Abstract: A nano photocatalyst coating procedure of forming a nano photocatalyst coating on the surface of a workpiece by: a). applying a nano photocatalyst solution of nano titanium dioxide and zinc oxide to the surface of the workpiece to form a nano photocatalyst coating, b). heating the workpiece to melt zinc oxide of the nano photocatalyst coating without melting nano titanium dioxide, and c). polishing the coating to press nano titanium dioxide into recesses at the surface of the workpiece and to let nano titanium dioxide be bonded to recesses at the surface of the workpiece by molten zinc oxide.

  • Publication number: 20050130851
Abstract: A nanostructured lubricating oil formed by mixing 80 wt % of a standard viscosity lubricating oil with 20 wt % of nanometered graphite. Alternatively, nanometered silicon oxide and nanometered ferric oxide may be added to the graphite-contained nanostructured lubricating oil so as to form a three-layer structure of ferric oxide-silicon-oxide-graphite, improving heat dissipating, lubricating, and wear resisting performance.

  • Publication number: 20050129864
Abstract: A fabric material processing method of processing a fabric material to make the top surface hydrophobic and the bottom surface hydrophilic by: coating the fabric material with a layer of nanostructured metal liquid and dipping the fabric material in a nanostructured water repellant solution after drying of the nanostructured metal liquid, and then spraying a solvent on the bottom side of the fabric material to remove water repellant from the bottom side of the fabric material, and then grinding the fabric material to remove nanostructured metal from thee bottom side of the fabric material, and then drying desizing the fabric material, and then washing the fabric material with clean water, and finally drying the fabric material again.

  • Publication number: 20050112359
Abstract: A self-cleaning surface structure formed of a coating mixture covered on the surface of a product, the coating mixture containing a polymeric resin and a nanometered metal oxide compound, for example, nanometered titanium dioxide, the polymeric resin serving as a medium to bond the nanometered metal oxide to the surface of the product.

  • Publication number: 20020139631
Abstract: A frictionless rear hub sprocket and ratchet assembly includes a sprocket fastened to the rear hub of the bicycle and coupled to the chain on the chain wheel of the bicycle, the sprocket having a plurality of internal teeth, a wheel concentrically disposed within an inner diameter of the sprocket, the wheel having equiangularly spaced pairs of stop elements, a ratchet mounted within the inner diameter of the wheel, and a plurality of pawls respectively pivoted to the wheel at one side and respectively disposed between two stop elements of each pair of the stop elements at the wheel, wherein when the sprocket does no work or is rotated clockwise, or when the ratchet does no work or is rotated counter-clockwise, the pawls do not engage the internal teeth of the sprocket and the external teeth of the ratchet, and the sprocket and the ratchet can be respectively rotated relative to each other; when the sprocket is rotated counter-clockwise or the ratchet is rotated clockwise, the pawls are respectively forced int
