  • Patent number: 9053753
Abstract: Certain aspects of a method and system for a flexible multiplexer and mixer (FMM) are disclosed. Aspects of one method may include mixing primary audio information and secondary audio information of sampled received audio data based on corresponding metadata information to generate mixed output audio data. The generated mixed output audio data may be pulled through a plurality of pipeline stages.

  • Patent number: 7848930
Abstract: A system and method for controlling rate adjustment of audio data to prevent underflow or overflow. In a dual audio/video system, a device can receive two input transport streams. To prevent underflow or overflow of audio data when audio data from a first transport stream is displayed in accordance with a sample rate derived from a second transport stream, a control for rate adjustment is used to match the source sample rate with the display rate. This rate adjustment module can be designed to add or drop audio samples based on a time base comparison or on a STC, PTC, and display rate comparison.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 7409329
Abstract: A system and method of verifying the format of a simulated signal produced during the simulation of an electronic circuit is disclosed. One aspect of the present invention includes a method of extracting timing information from a single simulated serial digital audio signal that comprises both data and clock. An embodiment of the present invention may verify operation of the simulated electronic circuit by setting the value of a first simulated signal according to predetermined events that occur in a second simulated signal. The second simulated signal may be parsed using timing information extracted from the second simulated signal, and the format of the second simulated signal may be matched against a predetermined format based upon the results of the parsing.

  • Publication number: 20080114478
Abstract: Certain aspects of a method and system for multi-channel PCM audio grouping in hardware are disclosed. Aspects of one method may include arbitrating the processing of a plurality of channel pairs within a channel group based on a plurality of received PCM audio samples. The plurality of channel pairs within the channel group may be sequentially processed based on their channel IDs. The channel ID of the first channel pair within the channel group may be allocated as a common group identification value. The grouping of multiple channel pairs ensures channel synchronization.

  • Patent number: 4621838
Abstract: An insert for insulating the area of the coupling two doublewalled tubing segments of an insulated steam injection tubing string. The insert is mounted to overlie both of a pair of adjacent tubing segment end portions radially inwardly thereof. In accordance with one aspect of the invention, the insert has two walls which are spaced apart and connected at their ends to define an annular space therebetween in which thermal insulation may be provided. In accordance with another aspect of the invention, the insert is engaged to one of the end portions and is spaced from the other of the end portions to prevent flowthrough of vapor and to allow vapor to enter between the insert and coupling and condense to provide an insulating medium.
